out of the songs we've heard so far i think 'chinese democracy' would be a great choice.

a slow build up with the minute-long introduction, then the awesome riff kicks in! it'd be cool to have the title track as the opening track.

Yeah definately CD. Such an intro would kill the momentum of the album if anywhere else.

from what we;ve heard so far, chinese democracy. the intro would need to be longer tho, kinda like how robin does sometimes live.

At Donnington, the Chinese Democracy intro made the hill rumble! I would love to hear the recorded version of the new guitar lick.

It should be a raw, unchecked, 5-second audio clip of Axl simply saying:  "Thank you all for sticking around."

Then Prostitute explodes and off we go.

Anyone think that a really soft melody intro would be cool? ?Just the guys playing, no vocals from Axl. ?Then break into Chinese Democracy. ?It would throw people off. ?Waiting to hear from Axl for so long and not even have him singing on the first track. ?

i was just listening to CD from Madrid, Spain and thinking that it should be the opening track. the intro to the song is amazing. i think it would be a great way to kick off the album.

i agree that CD should be the opening track. actually ill bet that it is, but i havent heard these current bootleg versions yet.

last time i heard it was at hammerstein. it started out with a couple second synth intro, then the drums kicked in, then the guitar played the opening riff a couple times, then the whole band jumped in. if that is how they still play it than i agree, that should be the album version.

No No and No and besides do you even know what Prostitute sounds like, do you know that its gonna be on the album??? or anything other than the fact it was mentioned as a rumour in RS about 7 years ago.....
on topic definatly for me it would be "chinese Democracy" as the opener but I wouldnt have the thing Robin has been doing recently, I would have the intro as it was played previously,  just Robins riff then the band all kick in, thats gotta be the one ?Cool

to be honest that would suck, a 15 year wait for new material then only half the album are new songs, the band would never live it down!
