I really can't see it being the Killers. They really don't need to open for anyone - they've been headlining for a while.

Also - if Axl called A7X and said "Hey guys - want to open a few shows for us?" They'd be all over it.

It won't be The Killers. They're touring the US right now and head straight to Europe afterwards. I heard a rumor that AFI may open a few shows after they return from Australia towards the end of November. Wouldn't surprise me since they're huge GnR and Sebastian Bach fans.

i love AFI's music.  you guys just pretty much base it on what the band looks like and their latest single, pretty ignorant.  AFI has some decent punk albums earlier in their career, and their 2003 album, Sing the Sorrow, is pretty awesome, not too sure about their newest album though.

I would'nt have a problem with AFI either - I can't take too much of them at one time , but I'd like to see em live

Kid Rock would be cool for all the shows after Papa Roach. Kid Rock has no dates for the rest of the year.

Exactly how does the opening act get selected? Do they need to share the same label or can the band simply invite someone?

Kid Rock would help sell the shows out. He got a HUGE reaction when he hit the stage at Hammerstein.
