It goes on sale Oct. 7th to the general public. There has been pre-sales for these shows (right?), so would it mention it on ticketmaster if there was indeed a presale for this particular show??  Any help is greatly appreciated and all the info you can give would be great.  I am so fucking pumped up right now, I can't even put it in words.  It's time to put some GN'R on stereo so the whole neighborhood can "Know where the fuck they are!!!"

Ticketmaster lists the presales as they are finalized. I know the FL shows didn't have the times listed on TM until right before. I wouldn't panic untill the beginning of October, I'm sure they'll list the presales.

On a side not, this is shaping up to be quite a huge tour Smiley All the dates in Florida, lead me to believe they will be playing all the major cities, along with some you may not expect (IE - Estero, FL)

Mr. Intensity, do you think they will play the palace again, or perhaps another venue in MI like Cobo or smaller like the State Theater?  That would be fantastic!

DETROIT CITY BABY!!!!!!!

Oh christ! Was that a tease for me on purpose?!?!  beer

I check Palacenet.com about everyday to see if there's gonna be a date announced. The only thing scheduled right now for that week is Panic! on the 21st. A friend of mine, who works for Palace Sports & Entertainment said that GNR had requested two nights during that week, so you could be right that we'll get them either right before or right after this show.

I also read where someone else had asked if they might play Cobo or somewhere like that instead of the Palace. The only reason why I think not is because the above information. But anything is possible I guess!

Chinese Democracy Is Coming Some Day!!!

« Reply #12 on: September 18, 2006, 02:00:40 PM »

OH YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just what I was waiting for. You know the odd thing is this is the same date Guns played Cleveland in 2002!!! I will be there, if any of the board members are going lets find a place to meet up before the show!! I hope we get a presale because it cost me 250$ for 2nd row tickets back in 2002. I really dont want to spend that much to get the close, but if I have to I will.

I noticed that too. I was hoping they'd play the same date here as well, but they played the Palace on Nov 21 and that Panic! boys have that date so maybe we'll get them the following night(s)...

This is good news. I was there in 02, and am sure I will be there again this year. However, I sure hope there is some plan to release an album or something big between now and November because the place was about a 1/3 of the way filled in 2002, and I don't see them magically filling the arena up now unless there is something tangible done to create interest among the general public. There is a smaller venue in town (The convocation center) that holds around 10,000 that may be a better choice.

Ironically the last GnR show in Cleveland, OH was also on November 24th (2002).  I might make the trip north to see them in Cleveland again.  beer

I am still holding out hope for more (read: closer) tour dates.   Cool

Wouldn't it be nice if an actual tour schedule was released?  hihi

NYC will probably fall inbetween Florida and Ohio... they'll probably swing up the east coast, and hit georgia, the carolinas, philly, boston, NY, possibly NJ, conn, and the north east, then swing around to ohio, michigan and the north
