A couple of people mentioned in this thread about how they'd like to see A7X open for the rest of the tour... that'd be cool but I highly doubt it... A7X just cancelled a tour to go work on their new album and said they feel tired touring with the same songs... so I doubt they'd open for Gn'R(Would be cool though)

But I kind of feel sorry for Papa Roach, they seem pretty excited for this but If it's anything like BFMV opening at hammerstein they won't get a warm welcome at the concerts.

Well.. based off their preformances at Inland Invasion (I was there live.. not basing this off the webcast)... I'd say I'd much rather see Papa Roach than Ax7.

Ax7 doesn't pull it off live.. and I thought it was pretty boring. I'm even a fan of the studio stuff.. so.. maybe it was an off day..

Papa Roach was interesting and pretty talented. I enjoyed them.

All I need is Bach really.. anyone eles is just a bonus.

Your mom's a bonus.

For the awesome lunch she's gonna make us!  peace

But seriously, Papa is a good choice.  Maybe us Inland Invaders thought they were good after listening to so much crap throughout the day.  You east coast fans will be surprised.

I thought Avenged Sevonfold were pretty good at Inland Invasion, one thing I didn't like about their performance was that the sound was really distorted. Other than that they did pretty damn good job. For some reason I didn't enjoy Papa Roach as much everyone else who was there, they seemed to put on somewhat of a good show but I couldnt get into it at all.

Anyone think Silvertide would be a good opener?Huh I think they would be the ideal opening band for a GNR show or any rock n roll show for that matter. Also Wolfmother might be good as well. And of course Buckcherry would be cool.

if Axl really wanted to raise some eye brows he'd get yanni to open.  Christ what a mind-fuck! but i sure as hell would go.

but yeah i'm probably gonna skip the openers, gn'r don't come on til 11, what am i gonna make chit chat with the fellow MSG nose bleeders for 3 hours?

Silvertide would be a good opener, I like them a lot. But I don't think they're big enough. I think Axl wants a smaller, but established opener. Here in NY, when Silvertide comes around, they play small bars, I don't know if they're more popular in other states. But they do rock
