According to Blabbermouth.com

The members of PAPA ROACH will join up with GUNS N' ROSES as a special opening act for the band's first eight shows this month.

"PAPA ROACH and Axl Rose, perfect together," remarked lead singer Jacoby Shaddix. "I know GNR fans rock, so these shows are going to be explosive."

PAPA ROACH's new album, "The Paramour Sessions", is the band?s fourth consecutive album to debut Top 20 on the Billboard album chart. And now, the first single from the album, "?To Be Loved", will be used as the opening theme every week on World Wrestling Entertainment's "Raw".

"We're stoke that the WWE liked this track enough to use it every week," remarked drummer Dave Buckner. "WWE fans are passionate and I think our song is going to fit perfectly with them."

Following the conclusion of the band's tour with GUNS N' ROSES, PAPA ROACH will headline this year's Zippo Hot Tour. Dates for the Zippo Hot Tour will be announced shortly.

I'm glad these guys are supporting GNR, but I'm equally glad I don't have to see them. Just not my kind of band. Now, the quesiton is, who's opening in the rest of November...

Baz... that'd be sufficient for me.? Unless they want to bring Buckcherry along for the ride, that'd be equally cool IMO.

I've never seen Papa Roach live, but the Cut my life into Pieces song is GREAT.  I can't wait to hear it live in Tennessee.  I think they would be a great warm up act.  Can't wait! ok

That song is called Scars.  Actually, I think they are kind of a stupid band myself - but heard the "Getting Away With Murder" album from start to finish and must admit - they have some good songs.  Scars, Last Resort ("cut my life into pieces, etc.") and Getting Away With Murder are all pretty good rock songs.

Speaking of this .... wouldn't the KILLERS be a great opening band?  Their new album is great.

I see that there last two CD's were with Geffen.  Does this play into the decision on who to book?

The few songs that I have heard from Papa Roach were pretty good. It diddn't entice me to buy the CD, but certainly a better choice than the previous tour in 02. At least they support GNR and the fans rather than taking shots at them like CKY did.

The Killers sold 5 million of their last album. It's doubtful that they will be opening for anyone. I'd prefer them to Papa Roach, though, who I am honestly not fond of - their singer has terrible pitch, and the lyrics seem incredibly cliched.

No offense intended to those that enjoy them.

They are actually a great live band.  I think the are a great opening band, they would be in my top 3 bands to open if I were in charge, right behind buckcherry and Green day (although they are probably too big)

I'm pretty sure the Killers were just an opening band on a tour not all that long ago...

They'd be a nice addition to the tour.  Honestly I don't care who the openers are, I'm there for Gn'R.

I mean I'd love for someone good to show up, but if it's someone bad I'll be able to live with it.

Buckcherry would be my pick for the band who replaces papa roach.

The killers would be a killer opener. But alas, they are now too  big to be an opener.
