Neemo : well first how the design of your new foot goin?

Bumblefoot : I'll give you the stock answer "any info will be announced by GnR management when it is confirmed." In fact, lemme copy that to my clipboard now, to save time - lol

BLS-Pride : haha..good idea

Bumblefoot : Foots going well, got plenty of wacky drawings coming in...

Bumblefoot : I'm starting to get sick of looking at feet...

Neemo : haha ron

Bumblefoot : Drawing of yellow and black feet. pretty nasty...

EFISH : (thanks for joining by the way) lol

Bumblefoot : Great site bro - thanks for makin that!

Neemo : ron do you use line6 amps?

Bumblefoot : Yep, using Line6 Vetta2 heads, and Marshall 4x12 cabs

Neemo : cool, was marshall a prerequiste for gnr or have you always used them

Bumblefoot : I just sent an email to Line6 about an idea for a new fx pedal, wanna see if they're up for making it.

Bumblefoot : Always used Marshall cabs Smiley

Neemo : i just got a spider II 30, about al the power i need

Bumblefoot : Have so much freedom to play what I want, be who I want, use what gear I want... its really sweet how the vibe is - let everyone be who they are and have fun Smiley

Neemo : did you use les pauls before gnr?

Neemo : nice gnr has a rumor of being a dictatorhship

Bumblefoot : Fuck all the rumors - everyone wants to believe the worst. Trust me, it aint so bad Cheesy Its pretty damn good, Im real happy Smiley

Bumblefoot : I got the LP I use with GnR in 1989, only used it for special occasions... Bar Mitzvahs and shit...

Brody : ok im here

Brody : Sorry Ron!

Neemo : cool is it harder to play fast with the heavy guitar

Bumblefoot : Its not harder to play fast with the Les Paul, just harder to stand up straight.

Bumblefoot : Wussup Brody !! HI MANDY!!

Mandy : Hi, there!!

Brody : Not much BBF I got called into the office! You know how the military is

Bumblefoot : Give a big hug to all the Navy folks when ya see em, and a big thank you for me for allowing me to go hang at the Jersey shore safely.

DoubleTalkingJive : So Ron, what was the definitive moment in your life that you said, I want to do this for a living?

Bumblefoot : Definitive moment - I was 5, my brother's friends played me the Kiss Alive! album, and I knew, at that moment, that I wanted to wear make-up and wear high-heels. I mean, be a musician.

DoubleTalkingJive : You must be having a blast Ron

BLS-Pride : Ron how was it to play wit izzy fuckin stradlin(had to say it like that) lol
Bumblefoot : ok, playing with Izzy F Stradlin. He's gotta be the sweetest guy in the world - he enters a room, and the room becomes calm and happy. Great guy Smiley

EFISH : Ron, I hope you dont mind me asking: do you think youll ever tour with the bumbleband anytime soon?

Bumblefoot : (lemme back up and see wtf I missed in the chat - hang on....

Bumblefoot : Bono! Love your band!

Bono : Haha! thanks

Jim Bob : hey ron Smiley

Bumblefoot : Waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.. Bonos not Canadian.. YOURE NOT BONO!

(BONO Had a Canadian flag for his Avatar)

Bumblefoot : LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! ! LIAR ! !

Neemo : so whats up with the hidden track at the end of normal

Brody : yea i was wondering that too?

Bumblefoot : (gotta scroll up and re-copy my stock & Whens the CD comin out answer.... lol)

DoubleTalkingJive : you must get that asked alot I am sure is the number one question

EFISH : whats with the 32 minute track, that only plays 3 minutes. is there a hidden meaning to that also? :-D

Bumblefoot : OK, backing up a smidge, yeah, Bumbleband will play as soon as theres a definite break in the GnR schedule and I know it won't interfere with bizzzzzzzzzz..

Bumblefoot : ok, the hidden track on Normal...

Bumblefoot : If ya listen close, its the low rumble of the last guitar chord on track 13, ringin' for 28 minutes, until there's no time left on the CD (counting backwards on the CD player toward 0:00) ten track 14 comes in and the ending chord is played. Tongue If ya did the MP3 thing, ya miss all that. Sorry.

Mandy : Wow... I have like 5 people telling me BBF is on ROV..........

Neemo : ah i guess i should let it rotate instead of stopping

Jim Bob : i've talked to you on myspace a couple times. i'm work in the porno biz and have all those chicks on my profile

Bumblefoot : sweet Jim - need some funk music? Got plenty.

DoubleTalkingJive : Anal Trainers...soundtrack Bumblefoot, people will be buying porn for the first time for the music!

Brody : so ron, when gnr comes to Ames, IA I will be at that show! Im gonna throw you a beer!

Bono : Ha! you're gonan throw somthing at the stage!?

Bumblefoot : Brody - people were throwing me beers in San Fran. LOL! They were still in cups... better than bottles of piss, yes?

BLS-Pride : hey bumble you dig on Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society?

Bumblefoot : BLS - Zakk is the definition of playing with fucking balls - BLS is friggin great...

Jim Bob : ive seen you with teh band 3 times ron. NYC 5/17 and both vegas shows. Really impressed with how long you've come in the band in vegas dude. the red suit was pimp to.

DoubleTalkingJive : I am gonna try to get infront of you at MSG..hmm what can I throw up on stage that wont hurt you ...LOL

Brody : Ok well I'll be sure to throw you a beer! I think they sell them in plastic bottles now

Bumblefoot : haha thanks Jim... Brody - maybe *hand* me a beer rather than throwing one. Shit, I dont drink, hand me a water Tongue

Jim Bob : i met robin the first night. but no ron Sad

Mandy : It's easier to see Axl than Ron......... Sad Damn, these celebrities.

Bumblefoot : LOL Mandy

Brody : ok will do that! water is cheaper anyways

Bono : I didnt knwo you didnt drink. Thats pretty cool.

Neemo : so any tips on catching gnr after a gig ron?

Bumblefoot : Neemo - thats a tough one. The security, transportation and travel situation is always different - sometimes there's time to hang and say hello, other times we gotta jump in the bus and head off to the next city, just enough time to wipe the sweat, grab our shit and go...

DoubleTalkingJive : I actually met you Bumblefoot behind Hammerstein and you were so nice, thanks for being so cool

Bumblefoot : To me, the show aint complete till ya wind down and hang with people, bring shit back down to normal, and connect with everyone more personally, ya know? Thats why id sneak out the back door after all the NY shows... give people some shit to eBay - lol

BLS-Pride : im gonna try and meet you ron in jersey.. ill prob be the only guy there with a BLS shirt on

Jim Bob : i wouldnt ebay anything the band gives me

DoubleTalkingJive : Ron you were/are super cool, it was a great end to a great night

Bono : Whats the connection GnR ahs with vegas.?

Bumblefoot : Bono - dont know why we play Vegas, I say why the fuck not? Cheesy

Jim Bob : great place to be Smiley

Brody : Ron can you tell us about the first time you met the band!

Bumblefoot : First time I met the band, was around the end of April. Introduced myself, plugged in and we played some old stuff. Then we did it again.

Brody : awesome!

Neemo : wow that's insane you had so little time to get to know them

EFISH : how did you learn all that material, so fast?!

Brody : Do you guys ever just jam to some older shit. non gnr?

BLS-Pride : talent lol

Bumblefoot : Jive, youre female?

DoubleTalkingJive : yes I am, if you have seen the rov myspace I am the chick on the profile

DoubleTalkingJive : with the ROV in lipstick on my chest

Bumblefoot : Yeah, we got together and jammed, and less than 2 weeks later did the NY shows - Im cool with jumping in, then learning how to swim...

Brody : ok lets slow down and let him give a moment to respond haha

Neemo : what happenied in 2004 for the thing to fall through?

Bumblefoot : ok, about 2 years ago, someone asked.....

Bumblefoot : We started talking about doing this way back then - I teach music production once a week at a college in NY, told my boss there that I may not be able start the next semester, told him why... I left for a week of gigging in Russia, came back and had all these calls and emails from people saying "Hey, I heard you joined GnR and are touring with them!" Rumors started...

Bumblefoot : I figured the best way to stop them before they get out of hand would be to clear it up on my site with a little message saying "I AM NOT IN GNR" - but I gave too much info, should have left it at that, and not even mentioned that I was talking with GnR - that was my fuck up. Didnt realize just how big and fast-moving the internet rumors move....

Bumblefoot : The next day, blabbermouth took my quote, added their own title "new replacement found for Bucket" and made it seem like I was saying the opposite of what I said - it became a problem and we took some time off for the dust to settle... Tongue But all worked out how it was supposed to, when t was supposed to - if we got together in 04, maybe it wouldnt have, ya know?

Mandy : my friend sent me a pic of you saying it was the new guitarist

Bumblefoot : lemme check the myspace rov page... Sexy Beast - yall have been even nicer - aint easy to come into a new family and yall gave me a chance - thank you for that Smiley

Brody : Thats cool! Although I have to admit you are a godsend to the GNR Community! were not used to getting to interact with gnr at all

Jim Bob : yea dude i think its real cool how you alwayss respond on myspace and stuff.

Jim Bob : dizzy ignores my messages but u respond Smiley

Bumblefoot : Jim - do it when I can - not always easy, but I try - youre all kind enough to wussup, I try to return the nicities - just the right thing to do. Wasnt raised by wolves, know what I mean? lol

Bono : No kididng Brody. Fan interaction at it[s finest

Bumblefoot : Typing fucks my hands up bad though - that sucks. So I keep answers short. Almost rudely short. Dont mean to, just trying to keep feeling in the fingers - lol

Brody : I bet ron

Neemo : totally ron, thanks for the repolyes and for doing this chat

cotis : are you back in jersey now ron? i know you live like 30 miles east of me which is pretty cool, IMO. we've sent some messages back and forth...i was hte kid with the red hat that took all those pics that i told you about...if you remember

Bumblefoot : in Burbank CA right now...

Bumblefoot : ok, what questions did I miss?

Bumblefoot : and whats the myspace link?

DoubleTalkingJive : http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?

Bumblefoot : Holy shit Jive - you're like, fucking stupidly hot - lol

DoubleTalkingJive : that means alot coming from you!

Brody : bbf I will give you my girlfriend

Bumblefoot : LOL Brody!

cotis : why are you in burbank ron? if you care to answer..

Bono : Ron Im wondering if you were amped to join GnR right from the get go or did you have any second thoughts?

Bumblefoot : Bono - had some considerations. Was about to make a big change in life, was real hapy with things, knew there would be sacrifices, didn't know what the weight of the good and bad would be. But truth is, good and bad are your own perception of things. Its up to you how you wanna deal with shit.

Bumblefoot : (was real happy with things as they were, I meant, wasnt sure if I wanted to make a change)

Bono : Thats cool Ron. I hear ya. Change is alwasy somthgn that taks consideration and your change wasnt liek somen moving form their job at Pizza hut to Burger Kings. Probably a lot more to consider in your situation i wuld thnk lol.
Neemo : ok well nice chatting with you all but i gotta go now....ron remember if Axl calls out seats to a special acousitc gig in toronoto ....section 109, row 22, seats 3 and 4 Grin

Bumblefoot : mmmmmm... Burger King.......

Bumblefoot : Take care Neemo - cool hangin - cya soon!

Jim Bob : whats your favorite GNR song to play Ron?

Niko : hi bbf , very cool you are doing this =)

Jim Bob : i wuld bring u porno girls lol

Bumblefoot : Jim... no comment - lol

Bumblefoot : I stopped eating junk food. Dropped 60 pounds in the past 2 years. I was pretty Bumblefat.

Jim Bob : congrats dude. i need to drop about 30 pounds

Niko : hi ron, dont know if you asked this already, but you were approached by GNR in 2003/04, did you keept in touck until this year with managment or you were approoached again 2 years later by surprise?

Bumblefoot : Niko - no, we didnt keep in touch... it was so messy...

Bono : Hey Ron whats your choice of sport?

Bumblefoot : Bono - always like boxing...

Bono : Boxings cool. When jim ome has those guys on his shows thats alwasy interesting. Bernard Hopkins is a great interview

BLS-Pride : ron i have to ask.. were/are you a fan of Dime? huge loss for music and for us bls/pantera fans

Bumblefoot : The Dime thing fucked everyone up. Was a fan.

BLS-Pride : yeah.. Dime was one of a kind

Bono : That inda fucked everyone up even those who were unfamiliar with him I woudl think. Kinda makes you thin every time you take the stage. Too mnay wackos out there

Brody : Ron What new bands are you a fan of?

Bumblefoot : I love Muse (even though they're not that new...), was so happy to play with them at Inland Smiley

Bono : Fukcing rights Muse rule. hey ron maybe you guys will get them to open on the dates in Calgary and Edmonton. LOL hint hint.

Bumblefoot : Gonna have to split in a few minutes - gonna hang with Craig (amazing guitarist from the band Skeleton Key that was kind enough to tech for me) and grab some dinner, then rehearse...

Bono : Thats cool Ron. Who wants to ahng with weirdo fans anyways. i just do it to uphold my Bonish image. LOL

Brody : Cool cool thanks ron we are so lucky to have you do this for us!

Bumblefoot : My band did a cover of Stockholm Syndrome from Muse when we toured Europe last October...

Bono : NICE!

DoubleTalkingJive : Ron, what do you think of all the forums dedicated to GNR?

Bumblefoot : The forums are cool, and I really appreciate that everyone has a place to bond with each other (or fight - lol)

Jim Bob : well we all really appreciate you taking the time to bullshit with us dude

Jim Bob : ron waht is your favorite gnr song to play with the band and during the show

EFISH : the best cover you did ron was the vocals on that sweet child o mine Cheesy

Bumblefoot : Oh shit, which SCOM cover? The recording from years ago with Most Precious Blood, or the one I played at the gig in Brooklyn last August?

DoubleTalkingJive : Ron we really do appreciate you giving your time to our forum and I will be sending you that email! Think you would consider doing this again with us sometime?

Jim Bob : this is seriously my favorite lineup of guitarists in any band.

Bumblefoot : Thanks Jim

Bumblefoot : I think we each bring something and together its pretty complete Smiley

Jim Bob : yea dude all 3 of you bring your own thing to the table and it blends nicely. i love how its setup

Bumblefoot : Jim, sorry we didnt get to meet - dont know where I disappeared to....

Brody : I think all three of you should be on the cover of Guitar

Bumblefoot : Love playing with them Smiley

Bumblefoot : We should be on the cover of Sexy Beast magazine.

EFISH : ron, were you intimidated upon meeting axl for the first time?

Bumblefoot : As for meeting the guys the first time, I tried to be respectful and proper - lol. I know I can be a smart-ass, so I just told myself "shut the fuck up and don't be a wise-ass - just PLAY."

Bumblefoot : shit, I better get to rehearsal.... lol

DoubleTalkingJive : Ron thanks man....see at

Bumblefoot : Heeeeeeeeey, fucking GREAT hanging with y'all - had a lot of fun! Cheesy

Brody : Later Ron Thanks so much

Niko : bbf are you rehearsing new songs for the upcoming tour?

Bumblefoot : Niko - maaaaaaybe. Not sure, we're supposed to start up tonight...

Bumblefoot : Thanks yall ! ! BYE!!
