When all I've got is precious time

« on: October 02, 2006, 01:16:07 AM »

I remember waiting up til the wee hours in the morning back in 2000 because someone claimed they were going to upload the new gnr song chinese democracy. I cant believe that was back in 2000, it seems like it was just last week.

The band also got more talented with the addition of Fortus.

By far my favorite member of the band except Axl of course. The guy was so amazing at Hammerstein when I saw them. he blew Ron and Robin outta the water when it came to their solos in my opinion. his stage presence in my opinion is unmatched by any guitar player I've seen save for maybe Slash.  Seriously when I saw him play in New York I just fell in love with him. I mean that in the gayest way possible hihi

These are the times of my bullshit life!

« Reply #7 on: October 02, 2006, 01:38:04 AM »

When it was actually happening it seemed like it was taking forever (mainly 03-05) but in hindsight it does seem like it went by fast.  Its going to be weird to actually have cd in my hands and not coming here every day for the lastest "news" on the album.

Not me. I think once I fnally have the album I'm gonna take an extended leave of abscence(rejoice Jim Bob and ppebbe hihi) I mean once the album comes out there isn't much more that can happen except for promotion. I dont see a need to be on here everyday for the first while after CD's release. There's a whole world outside that I've been missing.  Freinds I haven't seen since the 2002 tour. So I'm gonna check those things out for a while hihi

It's just not going to be the same not having to insist to friends that the album WILL come out, dammit!

I feel like it was last week that I downloaded the 15-second MP3 of Oh My God, recorded from the End Of Days trailer which was first shown in the commercials of the 1999 VMA's, and I listened to it 100000 times before we actually got the whole song... it surely doesn't feel like 7 freaking years have gone by since then...

Haha.... that's funny. I'll probably be here alot though since we'll have everything from packaging, to sales, to songs to discuss finally. I'd like to see how to tour progresses as well.

The fact Axl knows there are 12 left this year... implies the album comes out close or on that last 12th tuesday... otherwise why work out how many tuesdays left if it comes out months prior to the last.

The press released talked about 13 Tuesday left in the year not 12.

Me too. I probably won't be on as much, but I will be here for sure. I can't believe these past 7 years. They felt painfully slow, but looking back they flew by.
