The only thing worthwhile about the whole thing is that it was for charity and Slashs appearence in the video.

Yeah, I kept pausing at the part where he appears, trying to see all the stuff he had in the "studio".  Smiley

Thanks for posting it. I never seen or even heard of this video befor.  Undecided Wow this Dec will make it two years since that happen.

That was fucking awesome. It's a touching song and - while I think it got a little cluster, much like a huge church choir, with all those superstars - I think the overall vibe and what it was for helped make this a really cool version.

I think Elton John's part in the beggining was the best. Slash's solo was great too!  ok


It would have been  better if it featured clapton though.

This version is only okay,the original is much Better,Eric Clapton wrote this song to his son..Slash looks cool. smoking

I agree. Clapton's version's really intimate unlike this cover. I don't really like these 'we are the stars and sing together' type of songs.  no  But it was good to see and hear Slash and Scott, wonder if the studio versio's guitar solo is longer.
