Im hittn the road at 6 am and should arrive around 1....jst enough time to sleep a bit and party with ya'll CRAZY motherfuckers at the RAT !!

First time ever seening a GN'R Show

Funny little story.

In Baltimore, I was at the vrign mobile festival (Sept.23), when I got home, I check my gnr news and I found out that there playing here.I coulden't believe it.I was first in line at record and tape traders for the tickets

I'll definitely be there too - but since I'm coming from Northern Virginia - I'm not fighting rush hour traffic for the Suicide Girls.  I'll probably leave here around 8:45 or 9:00 and get there by 10:00.  I'll be in GA.  I would say to "pick me out" of the crowd, but I'm actually wearing a plain black sweatshirt and jeans - so that probably won't help!  I am about 6 foot 3 - so getting there early isn't as important!

Looking forward to this.....  having seen them opening night in NYC at Hammerstein (which was a bit surreal) - I'm curious to see how it goes the 2nd time around.

Well I just called the Arena and asked who was coming  on first Bach or the Suicide Girls and they said the line up has been changed it is Papa Roach and they will be on first. Does anyone know if this info. is correct. I have no interest in seeing the Suicide Girls so I was going to come a little later. I wouldn't mind seeing Papa Roach

After looking all over the WWW for confirmation of this, the best I've found is:

- a list of tour dates on Papa Roach's MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/paparoach) which says they'll be playing in Norfolk, VA tonight

and

- a list of tour dates on the Suicide Girls' MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/suicidegirls which says that they'll be appearing with Guns N' Roses in Baltimore, MD tonight.

Sounds pretty clear that it's the Suicide Girls.  What I want to be SURE of - is that there are 2 opening acts, and that 11:00 is still really the earliest we should expect Guns.  I'm planning on getting there around 10-10:30.

I know Bach is definetly going to be there. Everything that I've read said the earlies for Guns would be 10:00 but that 11:00 is more realistic. Maybe you should just plan on being there at 10 just in case.

Yes, there will be 2 opening acts. ?(I wish I knew for sure which one was going first so I know how many beers I can drink once I get to Baltimore. ? ) ?I don't think one can predict exactly when GNR will hit the stage, but I don't believe they've started before 11:00pm on any show in this leg of the tour.

Now I need to get off of this 'puter and head to B'more... ?Have a good time, everyone! ?I'm looking forward to meeting some of you!

That was a great show, and I am so happy I went.  I met jarmo and others from the board, and actually shook hands with Frank before we went into the arena.  Im not really good at writing reviews, so im not going, but all I can say was it was an incredible show, and Axl sounded amazing.

Sorry for missing the after party in room 919(?), but i had to get home, gotta work at 9am....but thanks for the invite.

GREAT show, I couldnt believe the energy they followed up with from MSG, just awesome !  Down on the Farm was awesome, I really wish they played TWAT, but other then that I cant complain.  1st mariner is a great arena !!
