Current shows - selling out?

Hello folks...

The GN'R show in Ottawa goes on sale tomorrow, and I'm dying to get some good tickets. However, I'm not able to actually be online or at the ticket counter when they go on sale, and am worried about a sell out.

Has this been happening elsewhere? Or is it likely that tickets (especially general admission, ie the good seats) will be available several hours after sale begins?

Hoping you'll share your ticket-buying experience. Thank you!

tickets are still available for the toronto presale so you should be ok make sure you check a seating plan when you go to buy them cuz my first seats were pretty far away....luckily ticketmaster reversed my purchase and i got closer ones...if you don;'t like your first seats that the site comes up with then try again

my opinion-- good tic's will still be available in the days (possible weeks) after the sale after sep 29 .... this aint MSG selling out in 5 minutes -- you should be ok

Thanks for the reassurance, folks.

U2 came around around this time last year, and sold out the same venue (Scotiabank Place) in about 2 hours. I know GN'R is no U2 at this stage of the game, but I'm pretty sure the band still has a lot of fans itching to see them (and a lot of people are probably just curious, too).
