I've just remembered that Papa Roach often include a cover of Stone Temple Pilots' Sex Type Thing in their set. Oh, the irony of that if they play it when opening for GN'R.
hahah oh god would be that funny! yeah i dont no how good they are, but i wasnt impressed with them at Inland. i asked my bro who knows alot bout music, his fav band is GNR too, and he says he used to like them alot. he thinks there OK.. so yeah, not the greatest but as long as we get Bach, and GNR.. im fine!

Fuck...GNR used to have cool bands opening for them in the past....This is one of the worst openers they could have chosen...Give me a fuckin break.... papa fuckin roach are one of the less authentic nu-metal bands ever...

I'm glad they got Papa Roach, they're a decent band with some good songs. Way better than CKY or most bands out there.

I'm still hoping for an announcement that The Panic Channel will be opening at least a few dates.

It's a good idea because it will bring a different kind of fanbase to see GNR live.....I am not a fan of PAPA at all, but I think this is a good idea...

I wasn't a big fan of Papa Roach but I liked their last album "Getting Away With Murder". I haven't heard the newest one yet. I agree though that it could be ALOT worse. As long as I never have to sit through cky or Mix Master Mike again I'll be happy as a pig in shit.

GNR gets a big well known current band who will bring in a crowd that is younger and ripe for conversion. GNR just gauranteed themselves a place on Kroq and added coverage, and what do we have here....a bunch of negative nancies, who think it would be better having Sebastian's band play or an equally invisible group.

I care about having the tour selling well.. but I care more about having an opening band that I would enjoy (and I dont know Papa Roach that much but the webcast did not impress me at all) so, Id way rather have someone like Bach which I would love to see and enjoy, then some random 'noise' band.

I don't think that but I think Papa Roach is pretty lame. I think it'd be awesome if a band like Muse opened for them in North America. They're pretty big over in England and Europe but here they are almost unheard of. They'd rock for sure. Maybe too much actually. It would put a lot of pressure on the headliners

hahahaha ....the tour brother... well i was confused because papa roach has there own tour, so it doesn't make sense to me that they would open every single date. they'd be working double time. i don't know why you used the smilies, not that funny of a question...
