Thing is...it is way too shady of a recording.....it's like a ghost or UFO caught on camera.....I mean, why didn't he record more and then show us......and if that is all he was able to record, why not record AXL'S VOCALS ONLY..?...like at the END of the song...if I hear that part, I can tell you right away if it is fake or real......

i've listened to the audio clip.  I agree that the vocals sound very smooth, and I beleive the guy is telling the truth, but honestly the clarity is so poor that I can't say for certain whether or not this is an altered live version, or an axl impersonator, or what...

where is the geffen headquarters?  If they were blasting it THAT loud, lots of other people must've heard it.  i wish they would come on here and confirm the story    or at least mysteron or someone from geffen (I mean, even the secretaries, security guards, and janitors must've heard it, right?)

why dont you people try doing something like this?!
there's no way you could reproduce the HIGH quality recording on a cellphone,
of audio, happening in a building, no matter how good/high quality the sound system is, and no matter how loud its played.
I didnt manage to get that good audio recording while on a GNR show, let alone while standing in a street.

only way to get that good audio recording using only a cellphone is to be in the same room as the music source.
