Actually, the last vocal line in "The Blues", where he sings "...was only memories" was sung very often in an even higher voices, to be specific in Vegas 01, the Euro & Asia Shows 02, at least one of the Hammerstein shows, and at Hammersmith... I would love to hear him sing like that on the record! ?ok

Even higher than that.     I know what you're talking about and it was higher.

Seriously guys, i don't get what you're discussing about. Even if this is real, so what? We know that studio versions are out there. And it's not like you could actually here something clearly.
We're gonna have the album coming out within 3 months anyways

Just jumped into this and I don't feel like reading 28 pages, lol
Just a question, maybe it was already asked, did you hear the intro to The Blues? Was it the new intro?

Just that one line was higher. ?Not flat-sounding as he often does live.

ignore my last post

Mrvics ?DOES BETTER SOUND DIFFERENT?Huh

if so beta or worse???

 Huh Huh Huh

I started listening at the last third of Better and, no, it did not sound different other than clearer, stronger vocals.? But nothing different, from what I could tell.   This song seemed the least changed from the Demos and live versions of these songs I heard.

Being a godzilla fan, I love his recent metalic screeches but not that 'rasp' developed by the overuse of throat during UYI tour.

well I think the flat-sounding is due to the recording.

So the falsetto intro on better was still there?

All links will be removed. This qualifies as a leak.

So don't ask for it either.

I couldn't hear anything clear in that The Blues clip, so it really doesn't matter...

I actually believe this guy......I figured at the end of Madagascar it would be AXL singing the backup part, not Robin. And from the clips I have heard it sounds like this dude is right on.........I knew Madagascar would sound amazing.....don't be surprised if this song turns into a MAJOR hit.....

Richard Fortus, the phenomenon

« Reply #456 on: September 26, 2006, 11:59:04 AM »

Listen to Madagascar Budapest 06, best version EVER. Axl goes very hight on the last verse and there's also a reverb on his voice "in the storm.... reverb....in the stOOOooormmm" hard to explain it, but it blew me away when i heard it.

Listen at the end when Axl runs near of Richard:? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30Z1YDdFKVM
(4:49 to 5:05) ----> Axl sings this verse higher.

mrvics, is it what you heard?

Jarmo - can you confirm that Merck asked you to take the link down.
You can't seriously think its worth taking down on the merit as it "qualifies as a leak" Shocked
Unless you've got a better and clearer version, that shit could be ANY recording.
