Lol, it's the Boston promo all over again. How anyone made anything out of that clip is beyond me. You people are all crazy, that clip is static with about a second of what sounds like the blues barely audible at the end. I find it hard to believe that some of you are talking about this like you can actually tell that it's a studio version or that Axl's voice sounds so much better than it does live.

You can't hear shit on this clip and you know it.

i actually belive this guy. Call me naiv. But i really do!

Anyway! It dosent matter, if its true or false now. Coz the album is
so right around the corner, that no one realize it.. And even will realize
it when they announce it! Keep your eyes open everyday now!

Its getting closer, its right in front of you! If you concentrate and use your
third eye, you can already see it..  ok

We've been here long enough to tell whether someone is bullshitting. We GNR fans have a trained nose for these things.

Based on his original post, and his history on these boards, I believe him. I haven't even seen the clip yet cus I'm at work.

hasn't an exertive of universal already told that they heard several tracks off cd?

So here's the juice: I started listening from the last third of Better and I noticed nothing new from what we've heard EXCEPT that Axl's voice is going to blow all you mutherfookers away! It's all rasp, all control, all the time!

all in rasp? All?!! No wicked falsetto on the intro? If it's the final cut, I'llllllll be hell devastated!!!! crying

Obviously, it's poor quality but the way Axl sings "I don't know just what I should do" especially the "what I should do" part is different from any recording of this song I have ever heard. Ah well, some people wouldn't even believe CD exists even if it were in their hands and they were listening to it: "Hmmm, I don't know. Could be remastered live tracks and some fake tracks thrown in. Smells like bullshit to me, blah blah blah." I guess mrvics will have the last laugh when the album comes out and the tracks are as he described them.

Maybe someone at the office just got their advance copy of the album and decided to blast it? ?Roll Eyes
The song's BPM is the same as the The Blues studio clip from the radio promo add from a few years back, but if they play it with a click track live, that doesn't mean anything and it could still be a live version.

As always, the weird and curious saga of GN'R absurdities continues. Good story, though. Cool if it's true.

"Everywhere I go I see you" sounds like it had bad sound coming out of the microphone, not studio...

Edit: Just listened to it again, his voice sounds very clean and actually could be studio...

I think it's bulshit. He put the blues online because we've got no demo of it.
Very difficult to hear (excuse me for my bad english)

It was probably someone in the office playing the Inland Invasion concert from a few days ago.

If I find some extra time to waste, I just might go through this thread and make a list of the guys calling me a bullshitter and call them out once the album is released and/or I get better proof myself.

V~
I think it's really not worth it Wink

I don't see how you could possibly prove whether you're story's true or not. All you said you heard was that Axl's singing was better that it was live (which it obviously will be on the final cut!) and that Axl was singing some of the harmonies (which he obviously can't do live!)
All this stuff is just a given. And for what it's worth, i think the recording proves nothing as the quality is so poor.

I'm not saying that you're lying - just that when CD comes out and Axl's voice sounds better than it does live, i don't think it'll prove your story was true.....that's all

I'm not just saying that his voice will sound better. Of course it will.

I'm being very specific and this is what will prove me right, two things, at least: ? ?

1. In The Blues towards the end where Axl sings, "...were only memories. Whaaaohoooowoohooh." ?He sings that in a very high note that he as not done live anywhere ever (only the "were only memmories" and not before or after). ? 2. ?At the end of Madagascar, he sings the back up vocals in the high pitched voice and the main vocals in the low voice. ? ?

That's being very specific.

These two sepcific things are NOT "given" and you know it. ? ? ? ? ?

READ MY FIRST POST!

It can't be from any concert if the lyrics were sang differently and there were added back up vocals.

I already wasted my time downloading the clip. Perhaps the crack epidemic is worse in LA then I thought.

I'm concerned about the better intro.

Quote
the Inland Invasion concert from a few days ago.

In fact vocals were done differently at that concert.
In the better intro, He didn't use the deep falsetto and instead, had a high voice backing him that was IMO, also his.

Actually, the last vocal line in "The Blues", where he sings "...was only memories" was sung very often in an even higher voices, to be specific in Vegas 01, the Euro & Asia Shows 02, at least one of the Hammerstein shows, and at Hammersmith... I would love to hear him sing like that on the record! ?ok
