To the ones that believe ma and aren't calling it bullshit: Thank you.

To those who can only walk away with "it's inconclusive", I understand and can't blame you.

I can only stand by my original post and if the only proof I can provide is inconclusive, well I can' t argue with that. Though I did listen to that section of The Blues from the remastered soundboard versions and if you study and compare my clip with those other versions, it can become pretty clear. In my clip, even though he's not singing hard at that point, Axl's voice is more constant, full and you can't hear any inhaling or exhaling like you can in all the live versions. But to the average listener, yeah, they all sound the same.

What I heard on Colorado Blvd yesterday afternoon was so far from what we've heard live and so clearly studio versions of these songs that I regret not being more prepared to share that experience with you guys so that more of you could be as excited as I am about this new material. It blew me away. I was one of those that didn't think the new songs we've heard were good enough...but no longer.

Soon enough, my detailed descriptions of these new songs will be proven correct without a shadow of a doubt.

If I find some extra time to waste, I just might go through this thread and make a list of the guys calling me a bullshitter and call them out once the album is released and/or I get better proof myself.

I gotta agree with this too... yeah, it sucks when you try and share info and get bashed for it, but even if what was heard wasn't final mixes, it's still a great story!

what line is Axl singing at 2-4 seconds and 29-32 sec and 57-59 seconds???
I dunno if anyone answered this yet, but it starts in the solo and Axl sings "I don't know just what I should do" (or something like that).

I think you're right.

I don't see how you could possibly prove whether you're story's true or not. All you said you heard was that Axl's singing was better that it was live (which it obviously will be on the final cut!) and that Axl was singing some of the harmonies (which he obviously can't do live!)
All this stuff is just a given. And for what it's worth, i think the recording proves nothing as the quality is so poor.

I'm not saying that you're lying - just that when CD comes out and Axl's voice sounds better than it does live, i don't think it'll prove your story was true.....that's all

Well, one proof would be to listen to the end of Madagscar and see if Axl sing the "Finck part" as he said in one of his post.

i wouldn't consider that proof, like i said it's safe to assume  that axl is probably gunna sing most of the harmonies like he does on most GNR stuff. Finck probably only sings it live cos Axl physically can't sing 2 lines at once.

I'm gunna go out on a limb here and say that axl will sing harmonies on the blues too. if he does then i must have heard CD before it came out!!

This story fits in with the whole grassroots marketing that GNR seems to be doing ( leaks, street buzz, etc).

Well, then if we cannot proove it, we'll just have to believe it or not. In any way, it's a great story ! Cool

Mr.Vics,

Why don't you try to upload the video FROM your cellphone to the internet directly ??
Ask to someone how to do it ... that would finish this questions about truth or not and would bring more intersting questions about how the final tracks really sound Wink

PS: The way Axl sings better in the line " I don't know what should I do" sounds diferent from how he sings it live.
