Dude, please go back there tomorrow and ask them about it. Just see what they say. Take a hidden video camera with you, conceal it in your coat, and record the conversation to silence the doubters.
That plan cannot possibly fail.
I suggest hiding the camera inside of a stuffed moose. Not a toy one, I'm talking taxidermy.
They'll never suspect a thing.

I'd love to do that simply to silence the doubters and nothing more since I know what I heard today, 1000% certain.?

I should scan my reciept from the DMV that shows I payed $560 for my registration on 9-25-06 in Santa Monica, directly across the street from Geffen Records.

You should, because they may actually give you more information. Tell them that you heard "loud music" blaring yesterday and were interested in knowing which band it was, because you want to buy the album. If they say they don't know, ask them if they can find out. If they still wont' help you (it'll probably be a receptionist at the front desk, right?) there's one thing that ALWAYS works - ask him/her what their name is. Then ask if they can speak to a manager or someone in charge. Pretend that you're dying to figure out what music was being played yesterday, and you were too busy to stop and ask because you had to pick up your little brother/son from school.

A little bit of this will work, seriously. A music company is not going to turn someone away who wants to find out about one of their albums. If they try to turn you away, say you're very unhappy with  the service and will be filing a complaint to Geffen's main headquarters or something. It'll work!

I think we should launch a covert operation on Geffen and send undercover Gunners into the office. One person makes a distraction while the other nabs the album.  hihi

It was coming from the 6th or 7th floor balcony and I had to stand acroos the street. ?The vocals were the easiest to pick up on. ?I noticed some musical changes but, again, I was really focused on the vocals. ?And listen to the clip, the vocals resonate much more than the music behind them. ?Believe what you will but when I'm proven right (read my original post), we'll continue this conversation.
