Thanks for the info, jarmo. You know, just for a moment, reading the subject line, I allowed myself to hope that Guns might be getting a little well-deserved recognition for a brilliant summer of European concerts. ?How naive can you get?!
I suppose that it was too much to hope that GNR would be nominated as Best Rock Act or Best Headliners, thus giving them credit for rising above the behaviour of a few morons in the crowd that day and putting on the best show of the day, if not the weekend.? But, no, they shove them in the 'novelty' category, thus giving everyone a chance to have yet another laugh at Axl's expense by reinforcing the public perception of him as an arrogant man with an over-inflated ego and uncontrollable temper. ?How depressingly predictable the media/organisers of these awards turned out to be - again. ?
