I agree, we board members should get some sort of VIP status for being here through the thick and thin and for helping out the word of mouth campaign...I don't know how many arguments I've got into with people who say "I'm not going, it's only Axl!" ?The stupid fuckheads! ?hihi

A BIG Thank You to Noticeboy for helping me offload my section 38, row N for a floor ticket!!!

I'd really like some good die-hards to hang out with on the floor, as I'll be going alone. If anyone is up for meeting and hanging in a group let me know!!

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoo, this is the night!

I gave all of my bud G n' r shirts for the concert, one of my buddy's wife is wearing my shirt I had since 1991. It doesn't fit me any more. So I figue that with the all of the opening acts Axl and company should take the stage around 10:30, 11 pm.

I was talking to the staff at Bubble's Mansion today and they said they were axpecting the band at 12"30 but that has changed. As of this afternoon they were waiting to get word as to whether or not teh y could stay opened later, they're waiting an a licience to be issued.

All of the after hours tickets are sold out, now it's all on the band shoulder's to show up on time.

Either way have fun gang, I know will. I'm getting ready to leave now, this should be great.

Cheers!

DH

WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE SHOW. It was surreal! I'm still reeling from it, and thinking about leaving for Saint John now.

Liqour and Whores was done when Axl brought The Trailer Park Boys on stage and Bubbles comes in and says, to great applause "This is one we play down at the legion sometimes - called liqour and hoes".

Overall, the night was just unbelievable.

Die Mannequin was a little offkey, but good

Suicide Girls were kinda lame, but some nice t*tties being shown.

The Trews rocked the house and had the place pumpin by the end.

GnR just blew me away, and I think Halifax blew them away too!!!

I had such a great time, the band sounded great.  Met the singer from Die Mannequin, cute girl, got a signed cd from her.  Enjoyed the Suicide girls.  mmm boobies.   Not a Trews fan, but they were pretty good.  Before the Trews, I bumped into Frank (happiest guy on earth) and Del James who were wandering around the floor.  Very cool guys.
GNR were awesome, even better than when I saw them in Toronto 2002.  Getting to hear Better in person was amazing, love that song.  I liked the solos and jams the band did, way better in person than hearing a bootleg.  When the new songs started people didnt react, but got a good responce when finished.   Hearing the whole band play L&W's with the TPB's was hilarious. Tommy was laughing his ass off the whole time for that one.
A lot of people were expecting train wreck, but left surprised at how good the show was.  GNR won over a lot of skeptics last night. Now if they an just get that album out.......
Thanks for coming to Halifax!!!
