It would be awesome if the Hip would open for them.  ok

It would be awesome if the Hip didn't suck.  That's my humble opinion.  Anyways they'll probably grab a local band to do the gig.  I think Bach is still doing the Saint John NB show if it's worth the drive for you to see him.

I saw the Hip open for the Rolling Stones last summer in Moncton.  They were pretty good actually.  Got everybody wound up for the Stones, which is more than I can say for Maroon5.

Looks again. There are seats available everywhere. Upper, Lower and Floor.

I actually just stuck a couple seats on ebay that include a return limo trip from the South Shore (Chester).. or any point inbetween.
So if you or someone you know is looking to travel in style.. let me know.

Also, I used to really enjoy the Hip but as of late (including Moncton) Gordie gets lost from the songs and his continuous rembling grates on my last nerve. Play the songs and they will rock.. ramble and the suck. JMO

Be nice though if they did actually say who may be opening up.. but then again if it's nobody we may see Axl take to the stage before 3am....lol

Someone on MyGNR said the afterparty will be at Bubbles' Mansion. I didn't know Bubble's had his own bar now, pretty cool!? ok Did anyone else hear about the party being here?

It makes sense for the party to be there, since Bach has said Axl is a fan of the Trailer Park Boys. And maybe Sebastian will show up after all.

From what I've read online(I'm not from Halifax), it's right by the Metro Centre... 5287 Prince St. Upstairs from the Keg and close to the Ale House.

In reply to the above message: No, Jarmo will not make it to Halifax. Keep me informed about the afterparty though, sounds like those people go through quite some trouble making this one hell of a birthday for me Wink .
