I wish tonight would have sounded like Rock Am Ring.  Tonight's show  was more important than Rock Am Ring

I really liked tonights show, but I think the best I've seen live, heard, or watched like this, would have to be Download. The fact that they saved the show from complete disaster gives it major plus points, and 5 new songs, Izzy's 1st time in Europe, 1st non acoustic performance of Used To Love Her (with an attempted sing-a-long lol) and I loved listening to Ron sing the end of YCMB!!

I think when we hear the real audio of this show people will be very impressed. ?I don't care if NASA was doing the "live stream," live streams just never give you the best sound.
Now, given that, I thought it was amazing so I can only imagine how good the sound must have been for the real fans at the show. ?

The "best show" stuff is all subjective. ?Were there songs I felt were the best of 2006? ?Hell fuckin yeah! ?Patience, Maddy, IRS, My Michelle, It's so Easy, SCOM were all bests in my eyes... KOHD was "Americanized" in my eyes. ?I prefer the Budapest version where Axl goes into stratospherically high vocals. ?However, I think alot of American fans prefer songs that sound similar to the album recordings. ?Axl's banter with the audience in KOHD was priceless though. ?Great shit! ?

Definitely one of the best shows of the tour...and that was based on a streaming web-cast! ?rofl ?I can't wait to hear it for real. ? ok

PS I think the Rock-Am show was great, but folks are swayed a bit by the better camera angles of Rock-Am.  Don't get me wrong, both are great shows.  It's kinda like who's hotter? Jessica Alba or Scarlett Johansson.   Grin

Good show I think each show has it's own beauty.
Will this be the last show of this setlist? I haven't experienced it yet. Sad

It was great, but I can't say it was the best, because I simply haven't been to all of the previous shows this year.  hihi  Nor watched them.

I've only been at one that was better than tonight's.

The best was Vegas, the Saturday show. The small venue and the bands energy have been unmatched.

Saturday?   Saturday was great, but I really thought the sound and everything was so much better on Sunday.

Tonight was amazing no doubt about it.  Its hard to compare it to the show last Sunday cuz of actually being there.   This band is getting better and better.  Cool    I will be at any North American show I can make it to..

RAR wasn't the best show. You're judging the show by its (excellent) recording...

IMO, from what I heard/saw, it would be the Download festival one..

Rock Am Ring so far has been the best of the 2006 shows.

It's the best show...that's available on video.

They've had better performances this year than Rock am Ring.

Last night's gig was great.
Call me crazy, but in my opinion RIR 5 was far better - both the broadcast and the concert itself.
