Why aren't there any new songs being played at the shows?

They play The Blues and Better at every show too. And then if your'e lucky.. you'll get Chinese Democracy. I'm sure later in the year (late October-November) we will be seeing atleast T.W.A.T back on the list.

That's what I'm hoping for. T.W.A.T is one of my favorite leaks and it is hardly ever played...

As much as it's annoying to see this same question asked five times a day, it's going to be more annoying when the setlist changes and we have 15 different threads after every show saying "why didn't they play [song title here]?!"

I have a feeling that "Think About You" and "My Michelle" enthusiasts will be especially vitriolic.

by my count, they've already played half the album for us.  Lets wait till we get the rest of it in our hands.

Axl have said that, in time, more new songs will be played. so, we just have to wait a little more.

That's true, and I think it's great they don't play "all" the new songs. I wanna hear lots of songs I haven't heard before when I get my hands on CD.

The situation is very different compared to the UYI-time.. before the albums were released, they had played live at least 20 songs from the albums. But back then they had only Appetite and Lies behind them, so setlists would have been kinda small and alike in every concert.

Before CD is out, I'd like to hear more some new-old songs like Civil War, Coma, Dead Horse, 14 Years w/ Izzy, Yesterdays etc.. altough I'm 99% sure they won't play some of them.

True, new songs don't please any other than the "real" fans 'cause normal people haven't even heard them. Well maybe some have, but I think CD will change this thing completely. It just needs to be released.

I think they should get rid off of Out ta get me, Think About You and maybe Live And Let Die. They should do at least one more new, besides Maddy, The Blues and Better (TWAT I hope). I'm despaired for some Illusions. I'd love to hear Coma or Estranged and Civil War definitely!

This tour is to promote Chinese Democracy - we can't expect a shitload of songs from the new album until AFTER it comes out.

Out of all those that you just named, not one of those have yet to be played live since Guns have resurfaced.
