We should know something soon. the Nirvana camp just announced that Nirvana's Live! Tonight! Sold Out!! will be released on DVD on November 13th. I bet we hear something on CD fairly soon, like within the next 2 weeks.

And a Tom Waits 3-disc album is coming out on November 21st.
Not sure why that's relevant to GNR though.

Well that's what I thought. But I didn't want the poster to leave anything out of his/her mystical equation. The Tom Waits album could be the key that unlocks the whole mystery!

That's been out on VHS forever... not an anticipated album that's gonna require a big marketing push. LTSO is something the Nirvana rights holders can just toss out as a cash grab (another one after the disappointing With the Lights Out that used alternate takes of some songs which weren't nearly as good as the originals, i.e. Oh the Guilt minus the lighter and a few others).

My impression is that Choking is a nirvana fan while 25 is big on Tom Waits.
But yes, like 25 said, maybe there're some hidden messages in those references.

OK, I'm sorry, I love Nirvana... but this is the 4th year IN A ROW they've released an album for those guys!!! Would the suits give it up already, they don't even sell all that well anyway, which is disappointing enough as it is. Although, I remember hearing C Love sold like 60% (The good 60 I'm sure) of their collection to an investor earlier this year. So I suppose it's his turn to try & make some cash. Which is also why their songs were performed on shows like Supernova, I just hope not American Idol..?
Uggghhhhh..
Back OT, I think Choking Soul was just notifying us that other albums with a Nov Release date are starting to be announced.. Therefore, could CD be soon???

You're, like, totally psychic!
Now, look into your crystal ball and please, PLEASE, answer the question we're all dying to be relieved of;
Is TENACIOUS D in THE PICK OF DESTINY going to be any good?
Wait, that also comes out in November! IT'S A SIGN!

That would be awesome. I would love to see some backwards mid-western corn-farmer's daughter singing Rape Me on primetime TV.

Now, I'm no rocket scientist (nor even someone who so much as dabbles in physics) but I'm pretty sure that if the world revolves around you, dude, you must be HUGE.

Until a single drops it is pointless to talk of there even being an album.
There is no proof the record company has any plans to release a GNR album this year or ever for that matter.

i dunno about what other people think but that has nothing to do with GNR or CD, you just told us that nirvana is releasing an album which shoulda gone on a nirvana forum.

Actually, they have a contract which is probably quite specific on the matter and have already spent quite a bit of money on the band so "ever" might be pushing it.

Well that does it. A release like that will conflict with a potential release month for CD. Bring on spring!

Will Nirvana stop releasing albums already? Gosh!
But I fail to see what the Nirvana thing has to do with CD...
