Axl had started to type out a letter in response to Weiland's comments, yet he still has to finish it... Then edit it... And re-edit it... So I'm guessing his response will come out in November of next year. Or December.

You're off by about 14 years, and anyway there should be no Axl bashing here.

who cares what that junkie has to say, the only reason that band sells records is because of Slash, Duff and Matt...My faviorite part of the letter was when he told Axl to hit the gym and that he was fat...Ive seen Axl alot this year, he looks just as thin now as he did in the 80's...maybe slightly heavier, but not in a fat way...did anyone else think that was completely bizarre ??

Did Axl start the " beef " between them ??..If he did there is no reason to back Axl up ??..I?m not saying i?m backing Scott..but hey !

If scott started the whole mess, then i?ll back Axl 100%...But i?m not going to shot him at VR?s release party......... confused

I think Axl learned his lessons after the Vince Neil incident. Vince Neil looked like a complete fucking moron calling him out like that, while Axl kept mostly quiet about the whole situation.

Weiland is the same way. I used to like Scott, until he did what he did. It's not about Axl, as much as how fucking childish Weiland was with the whole thing.

Axl's taking the high road...

I never wanted you to be somebody else
I never wanted you to be someone afraid to know themself
All I wanted was for you to see things for yourself!"

or however the fuck it goes...

Dear Guy I've Never Heard Of,
Hope the rehab sticks. Merck tells me you're in a band. I used to know a guy who looks just like your guitarist.
Please find enclosed one (1) signed photograph. Don't forget to sign up for our mailing list. It's probably on the computer somewhere. I'd probably "google" it, that's what I'd do.

Thanks for your support

Axl doesn't need to respond. It's a stupid letter anyway.

Actually, Axl showed up to the original fight location, which was suppose to be that night outside of Tower Records. Vince never showed.

Bull. Axl showed up at the original scheduled fight location, and Vince was a no show. Axl then took the attitude, fuck it, I showed up once and he wasn't there, I ain't goin' back. Then Vince made all of these schedule fight places that Axl never agreed to because he just abandoned the whole situation.

In reality, what it was, was a PR stunt by Vince Neil. He drug it on all the way until 1991, when GNR's star just got brighter and brighter, and Neil had been recently fired as lead singer of Crue. He then latched on to the biggest name in music at the time (Axl) and tried to drag him down for publicity to keep his career alive.

hahahaha You have forgotten alot of things....When Vince ( who had all the rights ) knocked izzy down, Axl came running towards Vince,,,Axl said that he wanted to fight..then Vicne said, let?s go right here and now...Axl turned away...what do you think Vince did ?..Of course he thought that there wasn?t gonna be a fight..then Axl starts the " scheduled fight" outside Tower records....new fights were planned..and according to Vince..he showed up..Axl didn?t....Sure when Vince wanted to fight Axl in a boxing arena?i can understand that Axl didn?t want it....

But for crying out loud a fucking fight isn?t gonna take place hours after the fire is burning...Axl said " I?m gonna kill you "..Vince said " Let?s fucking go"..Axl turned away...........................kapisch

btw Vince was fired in 1992..M?tley was on the road aswell in 1991..PR stunt my ass

You do realize that Vince's wife was lying about that whole incident right?

So tell me where Vince had the right to sucker punch Izzy?

Not to mention Vince did it like the pussy he is. Axl & Izzy finished their duet with Tom Petty or whatever it was at the VMA's, they're walking off stage, and were dazed, because anyone who has walked off of a stage has to re-adjust for lights because of the spotlights, Vince sucker punched Izzy when he couldn't see, then hauled ass and ran. It was GNR's security people that ran him down and caught him.

This is when the confrontation insued, and that's how it happened.

Everybody was ready to throw down, but MTV's security people broke everyone up, not to mention the police were already there because of the show. That wasn't nothing but a bunch of people running their mouths in that situation.

Vince was fired in 1991. They may have been on the road in the same year, but he was also fired in the same year.

Axl & Vince both agreed to a scheduled fight outside of Tower Records, and Neil was a no show.

This is fact man. Get over it.

All of the other fights were cooked up in Vince's mind.

Were you there...or have you just read ( like i have ) about the " fight ".? Because ..You shouldn?t take everything youv?e heard or read and put it in your cv...."This is fact man. Get over it." ------ > I?ll say the same thing to you...I belive i have my siuation about wahat happend in my head and you have yours  Cool  I read The Dirt by M?tley Crue and of course that only shows Vince verison but....

But i know Shariese lied, and i know you get dazed after a show .... But how come Axl wanted to take everything to court ??..Just because of a suckerpunch ? Izzy had humiliated sharise, and Vince stood up for the bitch...

I like GNR moore than M?tley Crue, but this just shows what a bunch of wankers rockers can be..." uuuuhh you slapped my friend, let?s fight outside tower records"

Ohh so Vince new about Tower Records....there you go...well good thing he didn?t show...THAT was nothing but a publicity stunt...
