Alright gang just been listening to me old GnR albums and I cant believe how much I love the song Don`t Damn Me. Its got the lot, ripping opening riff with one of the sweetest guitar tones ever put to record, awesome lyrics from start too finish, amazing middle eight you know the bit that goes, "And I know you don`t wanna hear me cry" etc and a mental solo too boot!!! Anyone else love that song and did they ever play it live?, I don`t think they did as I think its more of an album song than live number. Laters

They've never played it live. Been good if they had though. BTW, why does Axl say "Alright, that sucked!" at the end of the song??

Great song indeed, shame they never played it live. The lyrics are great and so is Slash's solo + riffs. Pure rock beer

Possibly the most underrated.... can't say best however. SCOM, Coma, Estranged, Brownstone, NR all have it beat. I think CITR will be legendary as well.

I think Don't Damn Me sums up the entire concept of how I think life should be looked at.

The lyrics are awesome.... the delivery, well, he sings it so fast that you can't understand what he is saying through most of it unless you have the lyrics right in front of you.

I hate censorship and people telling you that you can't say this or freakin' that because you might offend someone. Everyone's thoughts and opinions are valuable. It's one of the deepest songs that GNR has ever recorded. I have to send props to Slash too for his work on it. The song kicks a**!

BTW, why does Axl say "Alright, that sucked!" at the end of the song??
That's weird that you would ask that question. because i thought it was pretty self explanatory. Saying "it sucked" is like saying something is "sick" today, or saying something is "bad" when it really means it is cool ar awsome.

The best of GN'R? No, but it's totally awsome. I love it. I think their epics have "the best song" title IMO.
