calgary and edm would rock, that way i could see both shows....  i might even fly out to van and catch that one, provided tickets are cheap enough.

at this point any mention of an announcement by a radio station is probably alluding to tour dates....

If this was actually said it looks like there is at least one Canadian date in the works... I hope they do a handful of cities. ?I'd like to see them in Montreal this time around instead of Toronto.

I seriously laughed out loud when I read your last sentence. ?Considering that Toronto was the first show to sell out on the 2002 tour (ie. date of tour, not when tickets were sold), I'd seriously doubt GNR would skip Toronto (plus, supposedly Axl likes the women here in Toronto). ?Not to mention what happened the last time GNR came by Montreal. ?

I do hope Montreal does get a show as I would probably make the trip and see them there as well. ?If I were planning this tour, I'd have Vancouver, Edmonton, Galgary, maybe Saskatechwan, Ottawa, Toronto, London, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, and maybe St. Johns as tour stops. ?My bet is that each of those shows would be sellouts or close to. ?I'd actually like to see two dates for Toronto, a club gig and a night at the Air Canada Centre.

Cheers,

Andrew

 rofl

I think you misunderstood my post. ?I'm positive they will play a show in Toronto... I'm just saying I already saw them play at the ACC so I hope they announce a handful of Canadian dates (like you said) so I could road trip to see them play in Montreal. ?I've never been to an arena show in Montreal, so I want to do that to try something new... but if they play in Ottawa I may just suck it up and see that show (we put together a half-decent crowd for Velvet).

Man

Lucky bastards, on that list of Canadian dates there was a city forgotten London....(along with Toronto, Boston, Albany, NYC) apparently it was also it was one of the best shows in '02.

Could it be a date in Hamilton ?

Alright good. This is the kind of news/rumors I like to hear. But if it's only to announce new dates than it's a waste of time. Announce all the dats at once. Any further "big announcements" should be regarding CD.

There is no list. Some people are getting excited by this topic and have speculated about Canadian cities that GnR' might tour.

This morning on HTZ FM, the dj Kristy Knight who is a big Guns fan said she was sworn to secrecy, but there will be some sort of a Guns announcement next week.? Probably Canadian show dates.?

She did this interview with Slash back in the day that was released:

http://www.amazon.ca/Interview-Hitz-Guns-N-Roses/dp/B000009TJE/sr=1-37/qid=1158688929/ref=sr_1_37/701-5100871-5465903?ie=UTF8&s=music

Like everyone else said, it's probably just some new show dates.

Hmmm I wonder if Copps would mean an ACC show is out?

They packed the ACC in 2002 (about 15,000) so I don't see why they couldn't do it again? GNR have played Copps before also... or are they doing both? The cities are barely an hour apart...

Many bands have played both Hamilton and Toronto. I've seen VR in both.

The Kool Haus would be a fucking great place for a club gig, the night before ACC.

Living in Hamilton, I would think a date here is unlikely - I hope it happens, but I would put my money on Toronto only at this point.  Hamilton usually picks up the second leg of a tour.

I don't know dude, the Kool Haus has some of the worst accoustics I've ever heard.  If GNR wants to play a real club gig, reminiscent of their early days, Lee's Palace or the Horseshoe would be awesome.
