I will answer as best I can.

1. Not sure if anyone knows.  I read a while back that MFSL presses a specific number of copies of each CD and then whatever supply is left after a certain amount of time is destroyed in order to preserve the collectible value of the product.  I can't remember how many are pressed, it could have been 20,000 copies - for some reason that number comes to mind.  There used to be a website dedicated to the MFSL discs, a FAQ page, but that no longer exists.

2. Don't know.  This site has a pretty good list somewhere, with actual product numbers.  There is also the GN'R collectible page, http://gnrcollectibles.com

3. Judging by what they go for on eBay I'd peg the value at about:

a) AFD $75-100
b) Lies $60-80
c) UYI I $140-175
d) UYI II $150-200

It's been a while since I looked at the prices so these are just going by memory.  I don't think I'm too far off.  Browse eBay completed listings and you should be able to get a good read on the prices.

4. 5,000 I think.  Might be off by a bit but it's about that.

Wow i'd sell my AFD if I could get $100 for it.   My stereo cost approx. $5,000 and I did a double blind test with the MFSL Lies disc and a "regular" lies disc and I couldn't tell the difference.   Sold lies ages ago but held on to my AFD copy.  Never had the other 2 but I'm guessing there were fewer copies made of the illusions MFSL discs?
