- Next track is played before current track fully finishes

It's like that for me, I never hear the last 4-5 seconds of the song. Is it like that for everyone, cause I don't even have the lastest iTunes (I think..)?

the songs fade out and the next one starts on mine thats all ive noticed not a big fanof itunes but i have it at work for my GNR tracks  hihi it does the job

But you can turn the fading out in the settings panel.

I must say 7.0 is a pretty good update. Kinda has a Vista feel to the GUI.

It pisses me off because when it runs it goes so slow because the system proccesses take so damn long, that i cant run anything else and to "search" for a song, it goes so slow. The ONLY good thing is the color, i'm thinking about switching back to the old one.

It also went through all 180000 songs on my hard drive to "estimate gap skip playback" or something...WTF is that? I don't want it to do that.

You have 180,000 songs, thats what about half a terabyte??

For the record the new itunes is terrible. The audio is so distorted that it is basically unusable.
As another poster alluded to as Apple gain marketshare and OSX begins to get a signifcant chunk of marketshare you will begin to see viruses, trojans etc popping up it's inevitable. I was hoping itunes would be the same as always but there ya go, back to winamp.

Actually it's about 19,000 - I made a typo! I have a 100 GB iTunes library.

You need to go into your settings and adjust the crossfade. You can take it down to zero and it won't cut anything off.  peace
