That's funny.  I didn't think that, but reading the title again I could see where you'd get that idea.  Man would that suck.  We'd have to wait ANOTHER 4 years.  The Olympics occur more than GNR being in the limelight.

From what I can gather, there are a few tentative dates in Kansas City.? I wish GNR would play The Uptown Theatre instead of Kemper Arena.?

Kemper Arena is a great fit to me. 

Just saw Ted Nugent and AFI at the Uptown and it didn't sound that great.

There's only one confirmed date so far and it's in California.

Kemper would be fine by me...... its just an average mid-sized arena, but the acoustics were spot-on when I saw U2 there in the fall of 2001.

well, just got back from vacation and my friend had told me that 93ROCK (radio station) down here in South Florida is havbing some sort of Porn Festival thing and that GNR are supposed to play as well as BFMV on Sep. 30th. I don't know anything else as I just got home minutes ago...

After playing SCOM on Big 105.9 in Miami this afternoon, Courtney Young said she'd heard of a possible South Florida date for GNR, and that she'd pass on any info as she got it.  Sweet!

Bullet For My Valentine is one of the most talked about bands emerging in 2006. 93 ROCK has secured them to play a big concert event, Saturday, September 30th... more details soon!

Now we know they opened for GNR alot and seems to be axl's little band ..

Now to make this more interesting I emailed GNR managment to get a quote for them to perform @ the Porn convention here in south florida this weekened ..Here are the emails I got from their Booking Agency CAA. The largest talnet booking agency out there .. they handle Tom Hanks ... etc..

Yes we are very interested. The sponsorship money is there that is not a problem. We would need to move quick on this since the dates of the convention are august 4-6th we have the sound and lights and there is an S.I.R. here.
We have done shows for such acts as Soil , Alien ant farm and Social burn .
