i'm sure you guys already know this, but there's a rumor at mygnrforum that a new song was heard outside during soundcheck.  Here's the original posting:

Tonight i was hanging out at the joint outside and i heard Guns N' Roses rehearse a new song

it sounded epic to me, several "train me, oh baby, train me" with robin finck and girls singing in the background with lot's of pittman effects. I't was all new too me. ther were several people outside including 4 of my friends from college. Right now we're in the hotel lobby where we are staying. i still cant memorize anymore lyrics.

One more thing. the person standing outside the joint says G n R will be releasing their Chinese single in oCt 23rd. Thats it for now. see you guys soon.

Then, someone else posted some old alleged lyrics to prostitute:

It's possible they did that during the soundcheck and will not during the show... They've played Riyadh and the Bedouins this year during the soundcheck and not once during the show... And TWAT was played in the soundcheck numberous times but played only twice... In about a half of a day, we should know the final setlist...

Ballsy call. I think the set will probably be the 5/12 set. It seems whenever there starting something. (The hammerstein shows, European tour) they play TWAT. Id like a new live twat, and id love to here them play the general again.

Hey Boss.  Met you at Hammerstein when you were trying to buy a ticket for a friend (or something to that effect).  At any rate, are you planning to go to any of these shows or do you know anything interesting about them? You were pretty dead on back with the NY presales.. figured you may have a clue.

I don't know anything about these shows besides the fact I'm not going to be at them, I can vouge for sure though that the above story is a crock of shit. It's my opinion that Chinese Democracy will be released the week before Thanksgiving or the week after, that' just based on that time being perfect to get it in stores for the holiday shopping season, and numerous public assurances by gnr band members/management that it is coming out this year. Board members here have also gotten private messages/responses to email that it is coming out this year too. I hope Axl will elaborate by the October 23rd show... all these before then are just "warm ups."

I never really got much into the song C.D.. but it does make a nice encore opening track with it's new intro...

It would be sweet to see C.D/random song/then Paradise City close the shows from now on.

I think a lot of people are basing no new songs will be played because they believe the band hasn't rehearsed at all in their time off... I don't know if that's true or not.
