The iPod has a new enemy in town, with a possible release date of Nov. 14 and a $299 price tag. The Microsoft Zune opens a new market of "social" music connectivity.

WMA, MP3, AAC, JPEG,WMV, MPEG-4, H.264 media
Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) connectivity
30 GB Hard Drive
3 inch video LCD 320x240
White, Black, and Chocolate Colors
FM Radio
TV output connectivity
Dedicated song download site
DJ Mode (broadcast what you are listening to)
Podcast playback
3 day playback of Wi-Fi transfered songs from friends
XBOX streaming
XBOX (Microsoft) points compatability
Preloaded music videos
Over a dozen accessories at launch
5.6 ounces in weight, 4.4 by 2.4 by 0.58 inches size
Metric: 158 g, 112 by 61 by 14.7 mm size

Apple shocked the nation with the first waterproof MP3 player. They are still working on a portable version of the aquapod, but it won't double as a canoe. The Zune is expected to reach ocean depths of over 100 meters, and still function as a diving weight if nothing else. Certain MP3 tracks such as "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley have frequencies high enough to cause painful pressure waves in the noses of sharks.

Not only the screen is bigger, But the software is much easier to use.. also, The FM radio feature is great.. Chek it out is really worth it.. anyone else ??  Cool Cool

I love the wifi and looking forward to it being cracked soon. so i have 5000 plus songs 1300 pics and 40 simpsons episodes. I have half the hard drive left!
