readin up on alot of stuff today and it appeared slash may have layed down some tracks for CD before he quit the band, do you think these would have been scrapped, or maybe axl used it as an "idea to bring to the table"?

if i had to guess from what we've heard I'd say the blues, citr and IRS, but i doubt we'll ever know

 rofl well i suspect that Robin and Brian May had a big hand in it...well we know that Robin did.... if we are to beleive his webmaster peace but it's so UYI gnr sounding to me i wouldn't be surprised if Slash had a hand in it peace

but surely axl couldnt just ignore the 4,000 + hours of recordin (according to matt) of material that they did

surely some of it must have been used as an idea or something

nah it was after....when that woman and her kid went to Axl's for halloween he had just finished the rough stages of the initial idea

nah it was after....when that woman and her kid went to Axl's for halloween he had just finished the rough stages of the initial idea

what sort of year was that?during the time slash joined the band for 3 weeks?

Actually the first time I heard the blues I thought that Brian May had involvement in it, but to think about it Slash is big fan of Brian so I supposed that could be it too

I don't think Slash has anything to do with CD. Maybe he worked on some songs' early version like This I Love, but no chance anything he's done will appear on the album. If it happens Slash will sue the hell outta Axl.
