If time travel existed... Where would you go?

Tell us what you would do with a time machine.  

When you travel back in time where would you go?  Would you want to change anything or just be a fly on the wall and watch everything happen?

I would probably go to all of the best concerts that ever took place.  Imagine, being at Woodstock....

Id go back to the Sunset Strip circa 1980-1990. Kick arse bands all over the place, and in club venues!

And then my life would be perfect.

I'd go back and talk to Denis Diderot and see the french revolution with my eyes.

I'd go back to ancient greece, and talk to the philoshophers, and tell them how we think now, i'll talk about electricty, i'll talk about relativity....
i'll them about derivatives, integers, sinus and cosinus waves.
I'll tell them all the math stuff i can remember.
i'll tell them about how atheist people are now.
i'll try to change things.
I'll show Socrates a book of his ideas before he actually think them.

I'd go back 2000 years ago too, and tell everybody to avoid jesus and any other liar at this time.  

and then when im back here now, i'll see how it goes.
maybe we'll have a Cow on the cross in the churches, i dunno .....

1. I'd go to the 50's, 60's, 70's I would see all these great artists and bands, hippie movement, woodstock, Jimi Hendrix, the doors, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and find them before they will become stars..



2.I would go back to the 80's, would find Axl, put up the band with him and rest of the guys (three guitarists, mini me, Izzy, Slash) introduce my songs to them that I've done like WTTJ, Estranged, Coma, It's so easy and so on....while I would gave them 4 albums (Illusions, Appetite, Lies) worth of material, they would do at the same time new record.. so in the end of 80's we would have about my 4 albums ready + about one or two albums new material from the guys

- I would go to Ancient Greece to debate with the philosophers.
- I would go to Ancient Rome and partake in an orgy.  
- I would go to Jerusalem, 37 CE to find out what Jesus is really like (hey, c'mon, it's a perfectly good question).
- I would go to a Carribbean island in 1492 when Columbus is getting there...maybe say something like, "Hey, beat it, bud, the English got here first!"  He probably won't notice the Canadian accent...
- I would go to the Deep South in the 1800s and protest against slavery.
- I would go to the Reichstag in 1933, kick Hitler in the balls as hard as I can, and then go back into the time machine.
- I would go back to the 1950s, and go to a school for the day, seeing what the reaction is among the crew-cutted kids when they confuse my hair for a mop.
- I would go back to the 1960s and hang with the Beatles, go to Woodstock, engage in some free love, and so on.
- And of course, I would go back to the 1980s Sunset Strip.  Actually, I might just abuse my power of time travel by tracking down Slash, Izzy, Duff, and Steven, showing them songs I "wrote" like "Welcome To The Jungle" and "Sweet Child O' Mine", suggest we form a band, and I would be the singer, doing my best squawking vocals.  In essence, becoming Axl.  Unethical, yes.  A lot of fun, hell yeah

It sounds to me like most of you people don't know that a time machine has existed for hundreds of years.  I was born in 1770, which fucking blew, so I had them send me to the present time.  When I arrived here, it wasn't quite as exciting as I thought it would be.  But the unfortunate thing about time travel, is that you can never go back.  It sucks.  So if you guys have any questions about the 1700's, feel free to ask me.  They were fucking boring times, but some of you might find it interesting.
