Drew Bledsoe has got to be the worst QB in the NFL.

Who can blame TO from being pissed off yesterday.? Its like Dallas deliberately didnt throw him the ball to try to keep the crowd out of the game.

He had a wide open TD and Bledsoe under threw him by 5 yards and got picked.


That being said, Philly didnt impress me yesterday at all. Id Dallas Sucks what does that make Philly?

We played the absolute worst game imaginable. Basically gave them a 10-0 lead to start the game.? Then allowed 2 HUGE bullshit plays that would never work again in a million years and yet still had a shot to go into OT at the end.


If I were a Philly fan Id be anything but encouraged from this victory.

i sort of agree D. as a philly fan, i'm not taking too much from this game. as poorly as dallas played, they should have tied the game. i have some concerns about this team....

1. secondary - m. lewis is awful. i'd make constandine the starter.
2. running game/OL - we still cannot run the ball when necessary. and our OL looks average.
3. WR - teams still put single coverage on our WR. the big plays are frequently due to trick plays. but a healthy stallworth changes that.

on the flip side....

1. QB - mcnabb is playing out of his mind. i agree with D - mcnabb is the MVP. 
2. Defense - our DL and LB are playing great. they got lots of pressure on bledsoe (they deserve SOME credit for him playing so poorly).

and in the end, a win is a win. and we found a way to win a game against a pretty good team.

Yeah, the Eagles are supposed to beat Dallas at home, but it was a big game, and they proved they can win a big game. I like the WR's, they don't always get catches on trick plays, only the flea flicker TD was a trick, and that only accumulated 40 yards. The 75 yard Hank Baskett catch was a straight up fly route, and he just shook the DB.

As for RB's, I'd serious look into sitting Westbrook for a few weeks & having him get surgery or something on his knee checked out. Remember last year, when McNabb tried to play thru an injury? He got progressively worse.

Also, I don't think we were "given" a 10-0 lead, IIRC Westbrook fumbled on a bad play, then the Cowboys turned it right back over. I call that a draw.

We have a fairly big game against the Saints this week. I'm pretty confident they should win. They have Tampa & Jaacksonville after that, so they should win 2 out of those 3. (Beat Tampa, lose to either Jax or NO). Then they'll enter the Bye week at 6-2 and should be able to go thru the season at 11-5, winning the NFCC East. The crucial part of that will be sweeping the Redskins. They should beat the Giants next time around (revenge game), they might lose 2 out of the following Colts, Panters & Atlanta and Cowboys.

new orleans does look good. especially their offense. they have alot of weapons and put together some real nice drives yesterday. their last drive took up the last 9 minutes. unreal.

still, the birds beat themselves. bonehead turnover (moats knocked wynn over as he was making a fair catch - saints recovered the muff) right before half handed NO another TD to make it 17-3 at half instead of 10-3.

then 3rd and 10 late in the game and we get called for too many men. saints convert the 3rd and 5.

The Eagles should have won that game.. they really  beat themselves.  ay.

N.O. was a lot better than I thought though.  Drew Brees really ran the offense perfect, and Bush and Duce compliment each other VERY well.  If their defense can hold up (which I'm still suspect about...) they should be able to be a good playoff team come year end...

That being said, I think it made the Eagles look even better.  If they can just stop making mistakes and doing stupid things (like the NO game and the NYG game) they're a very good team who'll be very hard to beat come year's end.  McNabb is looking awesome too.  Here's hoping they can improve..

apparently the tampa bay kicker wasnt up to much(the commentators said this),and hadnt really kicked a field goal over 35yrd i think. Well obviously he can and did. Jacksonville next week and then a bye week. Surely they need to win against the jags to leave them at 5 and 3. 4 and 4 wouldnt be a good return.

the reid/mcnabb team needs to be broken up.

i hate mcnabb, but to his credit, everytime he throws up they score a TD on the drive. he cost us that game, but he had been the MVP up until that point.

AND as poorly as he played in the first half, he did everything he needed to do in the second half to win the game. the special teams and D have to be able to shut down the bucs with only 30 seconds on the clock.

but mcnabb's biggest blunder occurred at the end of the first half. ball on the 8, no timeouts, 9 seconds left. they run a play to try for a TD. he completes a pass at the 2, time runs out. no points.

that is fucking pathetic!!! and me, and every other birds fan knew it was gonna happen.
