I'd take the cliff.  Falling isn't bad, only the end result of the fall.  Burning is torture from the start.

Jump Jump Jump!  Grin

Might as well jump...JUMP!

http://zeit183geist.proboards62.com/index.cgi?board=tin&action=display&thread=1157514169

Imagine the insane rush you would get while jumping.  Plus, death wouldn't be painless.

Marmite Militia, taking over one piece of toast at a time!!!

The cliff.

Because your death is going to be pretty quick and painless (depending on the height from which you fall).  The fall, itself, has a good chance to stop your heart.  If not, there's no real pain until impact...and then it's over pretty quick.

With burning...you're just toast (literally). You have to feel every agonizing second of it.  And it can take a very, very long time to die when smoldering.

I would choose the cliff too. Burning is way more painful.

..but what if the fall doesn't kill you? That wouldn't be nice.. no

There is no death more painful than burning to death...think about the pain you felt when you accidentally burned yourself with a match or a cigarette...
you fall into a shock quite soon after you start burning.
and I think drowning is way worse than burning.

No, you could stay alice for hours, agonising, praying to die....drowning only takes a few minutes, and there's no real pain, you just go uncouncious at one point

Burning alive would be horrible, but way better than being skinned alive. nervous

Falling off a cliff wins by a landslide.? I'd take a biiig run up and throw my arms forward.? I'd be a superhero for like FIVE SECONDS! Cheesy

Since the question is about chosing a way for yourself to die I assume we are talking about suicide here.Well, that or really complex and unlikely scenario:p
Everything that comes with a "waiting time" is a big no no.
I can't understand how people can kill themselves by jumping, pills and everything else that gets delivered with a delay. What if you begin to regret your suicide while you are in the air, for example? It's always a strong possibility. I'd hate to die regretting the last relevant action I did in life.
It would be good ol bullet in the head for me. O hay, my old math teacher did it by standing  infront of a train*. that would be pretty good one too, start to regret? jump off the trail ok

If it had to be between jumping and burning..well duh. fire hurts more than air ay?
Then again, fire gives manliness points.

*the train was moving towards him fast, thus the death.standing infront of a stationary train is not dangerous.

Anyway, suiocide is for losers. T'
...time to go smoke a cig:p

fire, there is something more poetic to fire than there is to a fall

Although both are terribly painful and i don't think my soul would be at peace with either.

I would jump, since skydiving is also a hobby of mine.....so who knows, maybe I would happen to happen to have my rig with me at the time, lol. But yeah, I burning would be way to painful. It hurts a lot just when i burn myself with a cigarette...

I would have to agree with the masses:  I'd jump off a cliff  (however, I would be burning alive at the same time)...

Probably the cliff. BUrns are very painful and I think I was burned at the stake in some of my past lives. Although I did go skydiving once and the 5 seconds of freefall were pure terror. You can't breathe and just hanging in the air was the longest 6 minutes of my life. And the mule ridedown the Grand Canyon was 6 hours of pure terror!
