Question: When will GNR come to the Midwest?

When do you think GNR will come to the midwest?  I'm talkin about chicago and st. louis and that area...  My guess is the middle or end of December.  How about you?

I'm 2hrs west and that would be beyond cool. I don't know how that would go down though a friend told me he's still banned from st.louis don't know if that's true or not.

well if ur 2hrs west, then you should be about 3 from Kansas City which I think is much more likely.

I live in st. louis and was at the concert with the riot, I still live about 5 miles from the complex where it took place and nobody's "still bitching about anything" .  I'm not sure where your getting your info or if you just thought you sounded cool saying it.

Yeah, I live here in Detroit and i've heard from a couple people who all seem to think it will be December. Anyone on this board from Detroit or around there? I'm just curious as to which venue people think GNR will play. I'm not sure if they're doing shows big enough to do the Palace or Joe Louis Arena but who knows!

They are negotiating a KC date, but the venue might be in question.  I would bet on Kemper Arena, Memorial Hall, or the Uptown Theatre.  Word is, they will play here in December.

If st. louis needs someone to speak on their behalf sure, but I mainly wanted to inform the gentleman that said people still bitch about the riot that he's talking out his ass.  IMO it wasnt much of a riot in the first place, totally blown out of proportion.

I live in Missouri and when you say the name, you get the riot and the hatred of axl rose that follows. I have the st.louis dvd and the place was in shambles afterwards.

Not everyone hates them and the show would sell out but st.louis hasn't forgotten about it and Missouri hasn't either
