Is Axl allowed in St. Louis or is he barred from there?

I had heard too he was barred from Atlanta.

Philly...after 2002..will he say 'fuck it' and do another city in PA?

Anyone know or care to speculate?

I dont know about that, but he can still 'Fuck St. Louis' and perform in Missouri. Kansas City an obvious choice, and there is a small arena in Joplin that GNR could easily sell out. Although known for being a country town, if GNR were to play in Branson it would get LOTS of attention in the Ozark area.

well it seems like they are doing the southeast first.

i wonder how long it'll be until they are back at new york or if the 4 warmups at hammerstein were it?

if i booked GNR, i'd go by the weather and play the warm states in the winter that way you don't have any snow storms to worry about.

i didn't think they'd be doing 4 shows in florida.  And October is a month where you get awesome sunrises and sunsets smoking

They will probably play another venue close to that area. ?He may not want to return to Philly for obvious reasons.

Hard to speculate what is going on with this tour by the way the dates are popping up. ?I think they should cover the south and the midwest and then end in the north east right in time for Christmas.

well it seems like they are doing the south east first.

I think they will end the tour here in the NY area since we just got dates in May-

if memory serves me right, in 2002..didn't GNR have two shows in Philly? Or was one scheduled for wilkes barre and cancelled?

And a better area.. I'll be there (unless they move your show back to philly, again). ?It worked out in 02.. I ended up with 2nd row seats for that show after it was moved ?peace ?Yeah..great seats to have been thrown at me!

Yeah, they were SCHEDULED.  If you follow the band, you'll know that the first night in Philly was the end of the tour.

$10?  I don't recall, but it has been 4 years.  I think that would have stuck out in my mind.  The Philly shows certainly were more than 10 bucks.. (250/ticket to be in front row the 2nd night...80 regular).  Wilks was probably more than 10.. but maybe someone else remembers?

I think there was supposed to be a Wilkes-Barre show, but they switched it to the Spectrum. And yes, they were selling tickets for something around 10 bucks at the Wachovia Center show. It was some kind of special deal. Show your ticket to tonights show and get one for Sunday night for only ten bucks.

This is correct, they were handing out flyers for a 2nd show Sunday night (or Sat night, whichever) in the Spectrum (old 76ers & Flyers arena)? the night of the show as you walked in of course, it never panned out. Not sure if it was a last ditch effort to hope fans would think "Oh, they didn't show up, I'll just go to tomorrow's show".. The flyers were pretty shitty, literally looked like they were made in Word Perfect & copied off a photocopier.

Back OT, it's kindof premature to guess. I would have thought they'd only play the bigger cities in the first go around, but seems like Florida they're hitting the medium sized cities too. In PA, I'd guess Philly area(Camden),  Pittsburgh & myb Scranton or Allentown.

Oh yeah thats right... as long as you had the ticket from the first night you could see the second show for $10.  Glad that worked out  ok

Axl is not banned in Atlanta. They wanted to come in 2002 but could not work out a deal with the promoter-Peter Conlon. They wanted too much money and Conlon didn't think he could sell enough tix to cover it. ?Tongue

The way they are playing Florda. I Guess it is not to far fetched to see 2 or 3 shows in eastren PA. like Philly or Camden. Allentown or Harrisburg area and then Wilksbarre could be possble.

I just hope they do not fall on Nov 10,11, 12 or 13th as I will be in Vegas. But as my luck goes they will be.

Some sensible logic there.  Why not play the notheast in the fall, when the weather is brisk, yet still manageable?  I missed MSG in '02 due to a snowstorm, and with the way this looks like it's panning out thus far, I can only hope that that frustration is not re-lived again.
