Were you at the show? Sounds cool. Maybe these new fans can come here and replace some of the "fans" that do nothing but bitch. "Axl's going to present an award at the VMA's...that must mean that GNR will perform, and Buckethead will be back, and Slash will dance with the woodland creatures! Wait...Axl just presented an award at the VMA's...fuck you Axl!"

I myself am thrilled to hear that the plan to release CD this year is still on. Axl must be pretty certain if he's continuing to make definitive statements this close to the year's end.

alright you guys are probly right i definetly got way to worked up over this, but think about it he was presenting after the video of the year award? right away i thought something was going down, and i got way to excited.

Too bad he didnt do anything though...

But some of you guys are just crazy, you say things like "Axl made the night if it werent for him this would have sucked." Remember, all he did was introduce a band. Your telling me if he hadnt said two sentences you would have hated the vmas, instead you love it? Thats the thing that I dont get.

However, he did a nice job tonight, looked good, well received, etc.
nice to see him out and about and a sign of more good things to come this year. ?I'll take that for now

Tonight Axl confirmed the record is still coming out this year, he looked super-cool, and he appeared on live television to introduce a band because he likes the guys and was asked to do it. Another great night for GNR fans. The reception he got was very warm and better than most. I honestly cannot figure out what goes on in some people's minds. It is truly unbelievable.

That's true. Not everything Axl does is going to warrant a "...starts now". Although Saul could still say it everytime and I'd always think it was hilarious. Axl washing his car...starts now. ?
