Dude the crowd was horrible tonight. They barely cheered for anyone. Axl def. got the best ovation out of any of the presenters. A lot of people were giving him standing ovations.

Axl got one of the best ovations tonight, I am not sure what some of ?you were watching. At first people were quiet because they were in shock here was there.
I was watching...the reaction was fine, but it wasn't crazy. ?It was a "warm" reception imo. ? Well most of the crowd is into rap and R and B what do you expect?

Everybody can say what they want but I thought Axl came off cool and he did get the most anticipated spot of the night...not bad for a guy in his forty's who hasn't released new music in years. ?That says something I think.

IT was awsome to see AXL, but I thought his scream was horrible., TOO high and off key. I cringed when i heard it. Nice to see axl again.. he should warm up b4 screaming again.
yup...and i'm not a hater...seem them twice at hammerstein and he didn't sound like that. This isn't his show, he wasn't wearing in ear monitors..... Just some minor details. I'm sure it's nothing that makes any sense to you. Axl is presenting and decides to have some fun by using the intro from Jungle, but that's not good. It's too high... He should've just stayed at home because you didn't get what you demanded from him. ? /jarmo Jarmo, I'm making an observation. ?I'm glad he showed up and presented and I wasn't expecting anything more. ?You say shit like "i'm sure it's nothing that makes any sense to you". ?Why you gotta be like that? ?I understand that in a more controlled environment that Axl sounds better, especially if they use a backing track. ?But the scream was the same pitch we heard back at the '02 VMAs, and that wasn't good. ?Regardless it was good to see him. How can someone possibly compare ONE line (eg. "do you know where the fuck you are?") from 4 years ago. ?That may be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Psychologically, you could consider this a reunion tour because I`ve managed to find enough pieces of my mind in order to be with you here tonight - - Axl Rose, Chicago 2002

I feel like a tool. hahaha. Im sorry if this is a dumb thread, i just really had my sights set on an album release date, or a live performance.
Ps i dont care what anybody says the Killers fucking owned, they were great.

Yup, you set your sights too high. MTV said from the very beginning that Axl was only presenting.
