axl was supposed to reunite with bucket and perform there was a time, better, my michelle with bach and sweet child o`mine there. and well... he fucked up and just introduced the closing act...

I never heard this b4, was this supposed to happen tonight?

if you asked the right people yes.... no seriously. i just wanted to say that some people were expecting a little much with axl performing tonight and are pissed off now or disspointed because he did what he was supposed to do ok

Axl got one of the best ovations tonight, I am not sure what some of ?you were watching. At first people were quiet because they were in shock here was there.

AXL SLASH DUFF = GOAT

« Reply #1868 on: August 31, 2006, 11:53:47 PM »

IT was awsome to see AXL, but I thought his scream was horrible., TOO high and off key. I cringed when i heard it. Nice to see axl again.. he should warm up b4 screaming again.

yup...and i'm not a hater...seem them twice at hammerstein and he didn't sound like that.

This isn't his show, he wasn't wearing in ear monitors.....

Just some minor details. I'm sure it's nothing that makes any sense to you.

Axl is presenting and decides to have some fun by using the intro from Jungle, but that's not good. It's too high... He should've just stayed at home because you didn't get what you demanded from him. ?Roll Eyes

/jarmo

Jarmo, I'm making an observation. ?I'm glad he showed up and presented and I wasn't expecting anything more. ?You say shit like "i'm sure it's nothing that makes any sense to you". ?Why you gotta be like that? ?I understand that in a more controlled environment that Axl sounds better, especially if they use a backing track. ?But the scream was the same pitch we heard back at the '02 VMAs, and that wasn't good. ?Regardless it was good to see him.

I was watching...the reaction was fine, but it wasn't crazy. ?It was a "warm" reception imo. ?

I think half of the fucking board is on the rag tonight.

For the record, I think Axl was cool.   For what he was there for, which was announced far in advance, he did a sweet job.  Anybody who was expecting anything else has only themselves to blame.   ok

Those rumps in the audience would cheer for anyone. They would have popped for Chris Pittman.

Snippy? Maybe I'm seeing things but. . . did a real live person just use the word "snippy"?! Dude, I think you might have just grown five vaginas.  rofl
