Here's what Jack Black is going to say, and roughly what's going down:

JB: ?"I'd like to introduce to you the man who took you into the Jungle. ?Mr. Axl Rose."

Axl: ?Here's one of my favorite bands out there right now - the Killers! ?

(of course, Axl could improvise, but that's what was rehearsed.)
Axl is infamous for NOT rehearsing but THAT he rehearsed? ?confused

oy vey!!! ?hihi

how do you know that

Because I know about 10 people that were at the rehearsal yesterday, and was told the copy he's supposed to read.

Honestly - I'm sorry to dash anyone's hopes, but it's highly, highly unlikely that Gn'R is performing. ?Axl isn't even there yet.

Yep, that'd be about what I expect.....

I agree, I can care less, I think its cool hes jsut there, whatever he says does or doesnt, Im not all that concerned, has no bearance on CD, but i do however like the fact he his there and that is relevant.

So if he is gonna intro the killers, does that mean they could open for ?a few shows for gnr?

It would mean anything but i hope so, for 2 reasons:
1) The Killers are a good band.
2) they are a Rock band, they are better to open a GN'R show that A7x or BFMV who are way too "Metal" for GN'R. Those 2 bands may be good to open for Metalllica, Korn or Marylin manson, but that's not what GN'R is about. They are too Metal for GN'R. So yeah, basically, "The Killers" would be better and fit better.

Or maybe Axl likes them and likes the idea of going to New York as a fun thing before the tour?

Please stop posting off topic crap right now.

Allow me to say this ... HOPEFULLY if NOTHING else comes out of this the fucking press will atleast get an updated pic of axl to use ... 4 different times tonight on various TV shows I've seen the same pic(s) of axl from the 2002 VMA's used on TV!

Fuck , he looks HORRID compared to these days .. lol .. I aint one of those concerned by "looks" but the difference in 2002 vs 2006 axl is night and freaking day and hopefully after tonight the press will use some updated pics/video.

They're a Vegas-based band, so yeah, I could easily see them opening The Joint shows.

Maybe even some other dates, who knows.

The Killers are from Vegas... either way, they're shite. Their about as honest and spontaneous as The Spice Girls.

If you have a problem with the fact that I don't want My Chemical Romance being discussed in the Guns N' Roses section on a night when we're getting more posts than on a normal night, you can fuck off and take your emo friends with you. ?ok

Go post somewhere else if MCR is important your life.
