Axl was fine, but I gotta tell you: Jack Black is one of the the biggest fucking morons I've ever seen (which says ALOT).  He makes Jimmy Fallon look like Einstein.  Fucking retard.

Chinese Democracy will arrive in 2007...

I just watched that 20min thingy someone posted earlier, and that was pretty good.. it has Axl uncensored and in synch, which is always a plus..

I wonder if he took off after it was over or partied w/ everyone at the after-party or whatever...

Besides, is a presenter supposed to win a storm of applause like the performers of the nite?

I'd say the crowd reaction was far more than adequate for a presenter. Not that I care much about that tho.

Did he get a good crowd reaction?  hihi

I think my favorite thing I've read in any forum so far was when I read that "it was nice to see The Killers win the award Axl presented them". I read that and was like "Did you even bother to watch the awards?!"

If you look at the pic of Axl while he's screaming, you can see a few people in the audience behind him that seem to enjoy it.  ok

When did Mtv become MTV base? Axl looked cool, he is now the elder statesman of rock! I agree with the comment about MTV not wanting him to play until he has album out. Next year he will blow the fuck out of the VMA'S.

I still think if GNR wanted to MTV would let them open and close the VMAs. And play a couple times in the middle

Where is the quote saying that MTV did not want them to play without the album out?
