If Axl would've got turned down, there was no way he would show up there. He'd rather say "fuck you then". And MTV would never turn down GN'R anyways..

Axl know he needs all the exposure he can get to just let a mass U.S. television audience know hes still around. Because everyday people, at least that I run into, when I mention GN'R have no idea that their still around, in any incarnation of the band, trying to do something. ?

That just happened again to me today. Talking to a dude who works at a video game store, and inland invasion came up. The dude said somethng about how weird it will be seeing Axl and some replacements and the dude who wears a Bucket on his head, all playing old songs. I asked if he heard the new songs, and said how awesome they are, and he was just like "really." I told him how much ass they kick and what a fcuking blast he will have.

Anyway yea, its amazing how clueless people are. Axl needs to do some educating. Tonight would be a fine start.

Oh Aint it cool news is now posting about the VMA's (on the front page) and its already a fucking riot. The infamous Talkback is really postive (so far) about Axl. Saying similar things as here (he should make an announcement tonight. One poster said out of everyone there tonight Axl is the only musician...etc.)

But in the description AICN there is this paragraph that I find funny:

Got to agree. No point in coming at the last 10 minutes of the show to introduce "The Killers" and their next single. It should be Jack Black introducing Guns n' Roses and their new single.

Axl didn't mention the fall, but did mention 2006 for sure. 3 months sounds about right to me. If Axl is going to show up for 2 minutes at the MTV awards then it's not worth my time.
