Axl/GN'R mention in Sydney newspaper

There was a short write up in yesterday's Sunday Telegraph about Axl and GN'R's upcoming US shows as well as mention of CD in the music section of the paper. The journalist then went on to mention how bad Axl has aged and even had a photo comparison with a photo from 1987 and a photo from 2006.
But what really irks me is that in the comparing photos it shows how well Axl has aged.
I even showed the photo to my parents for an unbiased opinion and they both said he's aged well too.
And, to top that off, the writer for that section is an fat ugly dude. I'd really like to see a photo of him from 20 years ago and see how much he's 'aged' in 20 years.
I swear, looking at the Axl photo comparison, Axl barely looks like his aged at all, the main difference is his hair.
I'll see if I can scan the article for you all to read.

Are people blind? I think he is aging great! It's 2006 and I think he is hotter than ever.

That's pretty funny.. Yeah, it's been 20 years, so Axl has aged, but I wouldn't say 'badly'.

Its the braids man.... I loved them in the begining, but they're old now... He needs to lose 'em.... Especially when all the Axl haters use it against him, by saying a transplant gone wrong... I think if he went to classic Axl hair, no one could say a thing!!

Well regardless of his hair being different, he has barely aged at all. The article was pointing out how bad he supposedly looks due to "aging" but I couldn't see it. The braids were tied back and you could barely see them in the photo they were refering to.

I dont disagree with you, but i'm sure they saw more than just that photo to judge him... like I say, Axl haters will be Axl haters!!

After just watching the VMA clip I think he looks pretty good now. though I think it was funny looking how his shirt was half undone
I know nothing about hair but considering he's had the braids for so long now would his hair be ruined if he took them out? he'll take them out eventually. he's not gonna keep them forever.

There was a funny Axl mention in "Neighbours" aswell. Ned was telling Toadie that he needs to grow up and let go of the past. He said "You've still got an Axl Rose poster in your room"
Toadie replied with, "Hey, the new album's coming out soon alright!"
