Time is relative

I know this maybe a little premature, but is anyone up for organising some listening parties to celebrate the album release?

Mysteron - I think it would be really cool if the record company / Sanctuary could organise a preview of the album, maybe the weekend before the release. Hearing the album for the first time on a super duper sound system with fellow fans would be really cool

I'd happily come to London if thats where the majority of the fans are in the UK

Well this sort of thing happens anyway with most big releases. Unfortunately it's usually for the press etc  no

I'd go to london if the album was previewed a week before release!

But it would be cool if the same thing could happen in belgium ok

won't happen. someone would try to leak the cd then. i'm sure the label is going to try to prevent that- even though they'll most likely fail.

Stranger things have happened. Maybe it could be a fan based event and the press were invited. That way they'd get the reaction of the fans, and not just make their own minds up

Thats the spirit!

Sometimes record stores do a preview, a week or so before a record is released. I also think that there will be a myspace preview or something similar in the days before a release. Every band does it now.

GNR doesn't have an official MySpace.

I know they could but somehow I doubt they will. ?Let's look at their actual website and how often they update it as an example. ?The minds behind GNR don't seem very internet savvy to say the least. ?Besides, I wouldn't want them thrown in with all the Emo crap on MySpace anyway-

If anything was coordinated it should be through here since this is where all the fans are anyway, instead of launching another site to do it through. ? ok
