well, Richard Fortus WILL bring a lot of people to the band, trust me, he is already a superstar for me. However, fink and buckethead could destruct nearly all that potencial of new fans. They are certainely among the less attractive people in the whole music industry (maily because of their terrible looks). they are the perfect anti-success kind of guys. I just hope fortus will bring more new fans that fink and buckethead will "destruct".

Nah, nothing that exciting...management will pass the word to Geffen or something and they will release it on a website .....no tv, no paparazzies, no flashy AXL pics on the covers of all magazines.

nah, Axl cant get along with those paparazzies (dtalkin'jive, get in tha ring), I believe in something huge but something with understatement.

Out of general courtesy and appreciation for some of the most loyal fans I think that CD should be announced here.

Now this would be cool...

A new thread is started by a board member. Its sounds convincing, but in the usual fashion, everyone dismisses it as bullshit. From out of nowhere Sanctuary announce the release date. Suddenly everybody realises this mysterious board member is in fact Axl Rose, the board goes into overdrive. Several members suffer heart attacks, steam starts to come out of Jarmo's servers.

Axl apologises for not answering the 10 questions that Merck sent him a while back, and then spends the day discussing the album, tour, making of Chinese Democracy and plans for the future.

I think that Axl has spent too much time for "putting the finishing touches" on the album for not having exactly planned it's release. I don't have a concrete idea of how this could happen, maybe there will be a video and a single - that's something I'd like to see. I could also imagine that Guns play at a huge show or festival and announce it there - something like the VMA's... but whatever it is, I think it'll rock!

Out of the dark midnite sky, all the GNR members show up at one solo gig of a member, let's say Tommy?s, and drop the bomb. Soon after the event occurs it throws all the GNR boards (yes some of us have to be at the spot) into utter confusion that eventually spreads to MTV, the radios and so on. Then a few days later an official announcement is made. The album n tours are on the way, the first video airs and then all the hell brakes loose. Meantime, the band goes ahead with a secret gigs regardless of the din and bustle. One day in Oslo, the next day in Melbourne?

There will be a loud roar from the heavens, the earth will shake, the planets will align and the sky will turn dark.  Then after a few moments of this terror, the dark clouds will part, a ray of light will shine down upon the record store, and we hear a voice that says "Behold, Chinese Democracy begins now"
