Come on, really, Axl isn't shy. He may have other issues, but shy isn't something I would associate with him.

That reminds me. according to my mum, singing can help a stutter. Singing lessons can help shy and nervous kids to get over the stammers.

I don't think he looked shy at all. The look on his face to me was more sly than shy. He does have that grin that says, "I did something bad!"

I thought I could find something more relevant to the topic. but anyway at least these are his own words. could be food for thought.
Ditch: Absolutely, I mean it's... With everything that Guns N' Roses has been through over the decades and now you're back, and you got the new line-up uhh... And you yourself Axl I think, have you made a conscious effort over the years to remain out of the public eye or does that just come natural to you? Cause....
Axl: No no, it didn't exactly come natural but, umm. I, I would say that, you know,
originally I was shy
and then we would fight through it and.... You know, a lot of substance abuse will get you out there in front of those cameras. You know, you get like "hey I can do anything".

I notice the shyness as well.? It's not a bad thing.
Axl did fine at the VMA's - I like how he screamed - classic Axl.
i am a die hard gnr fan...but he sounded like a dying cat at the vma's

Dying cat, eh? I dunno. Kinda sounded like classic Axl Rose to me... But you're the "die hard" fan so I guess your ear knows best.

Axl is shy in the same way O.J. Simpson didn't murder two people a few years ago.
No, really, I actually DO think Axl is shy...
to an extent
...I think he's got low self-esteem and the tough-guy is a fake exterior to prevent further harm - his experiences in childhood justify this theory, too. I think he became a rebel to try to convince himself he didn't give a shit - but true feelings emerged in his music.
He's not shy, he's just socially awkward, perhaps. Not a party animal like most rock stars.

Great analogy buddy. WTF? Nice way to make yourself sound like a complete ass. Anymore carefully observed insights?? I'd love to get one last laugh before bed...
I'm sorry, I thought it was common knowledge that O.J. was guilty. I guess it's my bad for attempting an oft-used comparison for humor.
Would you prefer I just say "No, Axl Rose is not shy"?

Actually, I'm good with the O.J. story. I'm simply awestruck by your command of the English language and sentence structure. This isn't English class of course, but I'm always amused by some people (it's not WHAT you said, it was HOW you said it).

Actually, I'm good with the O.J. story. I'm simply awestruck by your command of the English language and sentence structure. This isn't English class of course, but I'm always amused by simple people (it's not WHAT you said, it was HOW you said it).
Do you really wish to turn this into a debate regarding grammar? Because I hate to tell you, but when I see "WTF" I feel the exact same way.
But really...go ahead, read all my reviews (
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/author-6769
) and let me know if you find any grammatical errors in them; you know, anything "simple" and what not. I eagerly await your analysis, Professor.
