New GNR Documentary .. Of Sorts

Not sure if this is the right section

Some friends of mine are making a "documentary" of sorts based on GNR... In their travels their planning on recording all of Appetite, or so they say ... i've heard a few tracks they've done, and their renditions of GNR are money baby, money ... here's an instrumental of Jungle for ya'll ... i figure you cats are the worst critics ... Note the speed solo towards the end ...

Sounds really good, but it feels like something's missing without both guitars.

I'd do my best to get the delay for the intro right... That would be a huge improvement, if you ask me. The verses sound pretty good, but I think there's a tendency of it sounding somewhat thin... As if there's no compression on anything, but just the tracks played on top of each other without anything done to them. But this probably isn't how it's gonna sound anyways in its final mix (plus vocals)... Sorry 'bout not joining the choir of praise!

Oh yeah, and how misleading a topic title is "New GNR Documentary .. Of Sorts", when basically you just want us to comment on a cover version of Jungle? Also I'd reckon it would go in the section where musicians talk to each other... I forget its name.

actually its not that misleadings, there is a documentary that is coming out soon enough and if you want to post comments on the song, post of em, if you don't dont .. pretty simple, dont ya think ... i put the song up here cuz i figured if anyone would judge the songs being good or bad, it be lunatic GNR fans ...

thanks for the input though .. that version Jungle has 2 guitar tracks panned left and right so Im not quite sure why it sounds thin, seeing there is an organ track in there also, but we did fix the delay on the intro and added vocals ... im sure ill upload them when its mastered, as sweet child and better are finished also ...
