i really woudn't consider MLB grunge really, more like, pre-grunge. Andy Wood's influence on the band was not grunge. Coming from Malfunksun he added a whole physcadelic influence to the band. They were more classic rock type than grunge.

I see where you are coming from. I just hate the whole idea of categorizing music anyway. You are correct though, MLB was definitely more varied than the typical band associated with that style
