If he didn't make a mistake with the month, then I believe there will DEFINITELY be some sort of major thing happening between now and then.  First of all, it seems to make little sense to play half a dozen or so dates in late September, stop for a month, and then return to the road on a specific date that he mentioned.  Secondly, he was adamant (saying it twice from what I recall) that the album is out this year, so that would indicate (to me at least) something in late October or November, because anything in like December would be in danger at any time of being pushed back to January or February, which would contradict him (although he's done this many times  Grin).  Overall, I think this is really the start, he has maintained since April or so that the album is out this year, he has a tour that has two parts to it, and I think we're in for some good news.  Good nite.

For that to happen,  A single would have to be released within the next 2 weeks or so.

they may not release single until right before the release, or not at all.  They may want the anticipation to be overwhelming.  I would say that they have to get this out before Thanksgiving, as that weekend and into December is the biggest shopping season of the year!!

he said it first at the korn tour launch party  on january 13th. "people will hear music this year!"   so that`s more than half a year and it`s still the plan... we never had that before  ok

but well....anything could happen i guess hihi

I don't think we're gonna get a single. I think the album is just gonna drop the day the tour starts.

I just cant see having dates in September that are in arenas, and those being warm up dates. Just seems odd to me to have warm up dates in arenas. So I can suscribe to the theory that perhpas it was a freduain slip. It is soon though!

maybe the september dates are for Axl to get a feeling of which kind of venue he wants to perform in.  then the tour kicks off in oct when the album is released.

I have a feeling the opening show to the tour, being October 24th, will be in New York City.

Whether it be the Hammerstein again, or MSG, I just have a feeling Axl is gunna want to launch this tour, hopefully with the album in tow, where he returned to the stage earlier this year: NYC ok

for the life of me, the shows AFTER the KROQ inland invasion make no sense!  Why they are happening is a real mystery given what we know now, maybe they will make more sense at the time...

Why does the show I'm going to make no sense? nervous Do you want the tour to be a couple of warm ups and Inland Invasion? People have been begging for a US tour for years and now that its here, it makes no sense?

People in California didn't get to see any shows on the last tour.  Now that they're about to play several shows in that state, it makes no sense!

Tuesday's are the the days that record companies typically release albums.

Who knows for sure what will happen, but this is TWICE now that Axl as said that the album will definitely be out this year. I'm willing to bet that the official tour will start on Oct. 24 to promote the album.
