Personaly, I would love to hear him cover Madagascar, Chinese Democracy, and the Blues.
I bet they would sound kick ass with Axl singing them.

A Kiss from a Rose - Seal
Next time you hear this song, think of Axll's wailing screams and Slash's power solos. The song would have been an istant GNR classic if they had written it.

call me crazy, but I would love love love for Axl and GNR to do a rock-cover of Seal's 'Kiss From a Rose'. Axl could tear that song up.

"Underground" ( to hear him sing IT'S INDUSTRIAL WORK IT UNDERGROUND!)or "Smoke" or "Evaporated" By Ben Folds Five
"(Don't go back to)Rockville"By REM Just to hear him sing the line "...and waste another year...."
"Uninvited" by Alanis Morrisette just beacause I like it
"Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk" by Rufus Wainwright. Perfect for his lower register.
"Last Goodbye" by Jeff Buckley beautiful song, would totally kick its ass
"Crazy" by Patsy Cline c'mon!

I don't know if Axl could pull it off the same way Jeff did, but yeah, it sure as hell would be interesting to hear that..

Call me Crazy, but I think Axl could do a powerful version of:
IRON MAIDEN's "Run through the Hills" . I think the pickup and the vibe would be perfect for someone like Axl. I think he could make it his own.
JUDIS PREIST's "Heading for the Highway" the guitars on this song alon are killer and the chorus is very good. If you ever get a chance and are board on KAZAA try downloading this song. Personally its one of ym favorite priest song and once again I think Axl could make it his own
